Diarrhea; Fever; Chills; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of DIARRHOEA (Diarrhea), CHILLS (Chills) and PYREXIA (Fever) in a 71-year-old male patient who received mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (batch nos. 038A21A and 007N29A) for COVID-19 vaccination. Concurrent medical conditions included Shellfish allergy and Chronic kidney disease since 01-Jan-2012. Concomitant products included FAMOTIDINE from 01-Jan-2014 to an unknown date for Acid reflux (esophageal), SIMVASTATIN from 01-Jan-2014 to an unknown date for Blood cholesterol, APIXABAN (ELIQUIS) from 01-Oct-2019 to an unknown date for DVT, LEVOTHYROXINE SODIUM (SYNTHYROID) from 01-Jan-2010 to an unknown date for Thyroid disorder. On 18-Feb-2021, the patient received first dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular) 1 dosage form. On 19-Mar-2021, received second dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular) dosage was changed to 1 dosage form. On 02-Apr-2021, the patient experienced CHILLS (Chills). On 03-Apr-2021, the patient experienced PYREXIA (Fever). On 04-Apr-2021, the patient experienced DIARRHOEA (Diarrhea). The patient was treated with LOPERAMIDE HYDROCHLORIDE (IMODIUM) for Adverse event, at an unspecified dose and frequency and GATIFLOXACIN (GATOR) for Adverse event, at an unspecified dose and frequency. On 06-Apr-2021, DIARRHOEA (Diarrhea), CHILLS (Chills) and PYREXIA (Fever) had resolved.
