Arthralgia Headache Pain in extremity

Symptomtext

Headache; Pain Left Leg Severe; Pain Behind Knee; A spontaneous report was received from a consumer concerning a 64-years-old female patient who received Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine (mRNA-1273) and experienced pain left leg severe/pain in extremity, pain behind knee/arthralgia, headache. The patient's medical history was not provided. Concomitant medications reported were Aspirin 81mg daily for drug use for unknown indication. On 8 Feb 2021, prior to the onset of the events the patient received first of two planned doses of mRNA-1273 (lot/batch: 016N20A) intramuscularly for prophylaxis of COVID-19 infection. On 8 Feb 2021, the patient experienced pain left leg severe/pain in extremity, pain behind knee/arthralgia, headache. Treatment details included Tylenol. Action taken with mRNA-1273 in response to the events was not reported. on an unknown date the outcome of pain left leg severe/pain in extremity, pain behind knee/arthralgia, headache was unknown.

Symptomtext

1st event started 03/13/2021, I could not see out of my left eye. I went to the emergency room. They referred me to retina specialist, who was on call that weekend. There was so much blood, she was pretty sure I had a retina tear. I went to the retina surgeon the next day 03/14/2021. We did laser surgery and fixed it. On a follow up 04/03/2021, the retina specialist saw a small tear on my right eye. He did laser surgery and fix it. I still have some of the blood in my left eye. I still have a haze that moves around a little bit as I move my eye. The doctor said it might take 6 months to a year before it completely goes away. As far as my vision, it has not obstructed my vision.

About 1 week after the 1st dose 2/22/2021, I started to notice the tips of my right fingers (index, middle, ring, pinky) red pustules (they look look herpes virus/cold sores). Around that time, I also got chronic daily diarrhea. I went to see my PCP on 3/8/2021 and was prescribed a stool study. I did a stool study on 3/9/2021 and everything came back negative and normal. I went ahead and decided to get my 2nd dose of Moderna on 3/22/2021. I went to my dermatologist on 3/23/2021 to have her look at my covid fingers and was diagnosed with "pink erythermatic purpuric papules" most likely from the covid-19 vaccine. She also suspected that I may have had asymptomic mild covid illness and my covid fingers developed after the vaccine. I was prescribed a clobetasol topical cream and Valtrex oral tablets. After 3 weeks, my covid fingers resolved. I was still having diarrhea. On 3/30/2021 I went to see a GI specialist for the diarrhea and I did blood work and various studies to find the source of the diarrhea, which all came back normal. For the diarrhea, I was prescribed Xifaxan every 8 hours for 2 weeksfor the diarrhea. The medication has help the diarrhea, The diarrhea has improved but has not completely resolved.
