The patient's past medical history included Trigeminal neuralgia (Atypical facial nerve). Concurrent medical conditions included Burning mouth syndrome (Atypical, no cure) since July 2016. Patient rec'd vaccine on 1-25-2021. Patient woke up on 1-26-2021 feeling so bad with joint stiffness and trouble breathing, he called 911. He was taken to Hospital where he was admitted. He says by 1-27-2021 he was feeling much better with each passing hour. He was discharged on 1-27-2021. Then on 1-28-2021 he noticed a red and very itching rash at the injection site and all across his back.

Headache, fatigue, nausea and a red flat rash all over my entire body from my neck down which appeared 2 days after both vaccines, lasting 2-4 weeks . The first vaccine the rash lasted about 1-1 and 1/2 weeks, the second vaccine the rash lasted 3-4 weeks. I was told by the RN who administered the second vaccine that it was either my immune system on hyperdrive, I may have had COVID and wasn?t aware. (My antibodies were NEG.) she was not concerned and let me leave immediately after the second vaccine. Not sure why.

On the day of the vaccine, I had a warm flushing feeling in the back of my neck and head and face within the first 15 minutes. Then a couple of times later in the day. My arm was sore and painful for 3 days following. On 1/28/2021 - two weeks after the vaccination I woke up with my arm being itchy, and exhibiting a large rash with well delineated margins measuring approximately 15cm x 6cm surrounding the injection site and down my arm towards my elbow (anterior). It became warm to the touch and continued that way for about 3 days. After that small blisters began to appear which became intensely itchy. These eventually burst and stopped itching. I used Benadryl on the rash which seemed to help. During this same time I had a series of hot flashes coupled with temperature spikes and drenching sweats. The rash and the hot flashes took slightly over a week to fully resolve. There is a remnant rash still, along with as yet unhealed blisters (scabbed over) (yes still).
