On 25-Feb-2021, received second dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular) dosage was changed to 1 dosage form. On 21-Jan-2021, the patient experienced PAIN IN EXTREMITY (Sore arm). On 26-Feb-2021, the patient experienced MIGRAINE (Horrific migraine) and CHILLS (Chills). First 2 days achy arm, itchy then OK. On 2-9-2021 schedule to donate blood. Went in for regular check but pluse rate was 110. After 20 minutes, when it did not subside was turned away from donating. had bee a bit short of breath so after 2 more days went to provider. heart rate still high, B normal. Chest xray was ordered and report was hyper extended lungs, COPD. Having never somked in my life baffled. Had Pulmonary function was rated normal but noted lungs age of 82 year old.

Moderna COVID-19 vaccine With in 15 mins of revieving the vaccine I got hives front the too to bottom of my back and my throat began to get itchy and it became hard to breathe. They gave me Pepcid and 2 shots of benadryl in my right arm about 15 to 20 mins apart when my symptoms wouldn't go away the gave me an epipen and called an ambulance and I was taken to hospital in to be observed longer. While at the hospital i was given 2 oral steriods to help with my reaction. I was released from the hospital at about 8:30 pm that night with prescriptions for pepcid, benadryl, prednisone, and an epipen.

On 12/29/2020 I took the 1st Moderna Covid-19 vaccine dose through my employer. Immediately afterward I felt a warm sensation down my left arm and then up my torso into my face. My face and neck turned red. I felt light headed and my chest was heavy feeling. My heart began to race. I waited the 30 minutes they asked me to wait and then asked the medic if these side effects were normal. He said no and gave me a Benadryl because I might be having an allergic reaction. The medical staff performed an EKG because my blood pressure was 160/100 which is not normal for me. The EKG was normal but they called an ambulance to get a better test. My second blood pressure check went down to 140/82. They wanted me to go to the hospital but I did not go.

At the time of the report, HYPOAESTHESIA (Light numbness on her right middle face) outcome was unknown and SKIN LESION (sore on arm) and PAIN IN EXTREMITY (Little sore and hurt her right arm) was resolving. The action taken with mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular) was unknown. For mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular), the reporter did not provide any causality assessments. Concomitant medications included allergy medication. The patient started experiencing some light numbness on her right middle face, she could move her lips and nose, but it felt different, also had a little sore and hurt a little bit her right arm. No problem with discomfort after shot, just a little sore arm for a day. No flu symptoms. Eight days after the shot, however, my right arm started to itch in the morning, and by nighttime, the shot site was no longer itchy but swollen, red, and hot. I applied ice treatment which helped relieve the heat and swelling. Today, my arm is much better. I still have a slight swelling with a light redness around the shot site, but no discomfort, no heat. I reported this delayed reaction to the shot to my doctor?s office, and they referred me to you to report my experience since they thought it was an unusual reaction.

Sore arm the first morning About 26 hours after injection I became cold. 2:00pm at 28 hours my teeth began to chatter uncontrollably. 4:00pm until 8;45pm - I had 4 tylenol during this time frame Became very achy and uncomfortable around 8:45 pm At 1:00 am I felt inflamation on my whole left side. My arm hurt to the shoulder to touch or move, left breast sore, left knee (artifical replacement) was sore under knee cap. I took two extra strength tylenol for inflamation and slept for 2 hours. Woke up in a pool fo sweat, but felt fine! Should I take the second dose?

After receiving the vaccine on 12/30 the only side effect at that time was arm soreness at the injection site. A day later some chills and fatigue but no other side effects after. I noticed starting on 1/4 pain started on injection arm from shoulder down lower to extremities on left arm. Pain very excruciating but comes and goes. Joint pain and muscular pain throughout entire arm and even in right arm. After couple days of this, contacted family physician regarding this. Was seen by physician on 1/6. Discuss concerned and he ordered X-rays on both arms and ultrasound droplet on entire left arm (injection site- from shoulder in down). MD also I formed me to take Advil/Aleve twice a day as needed for pain/soreness along with heat/cool compressions as needed as well as shoulder exercises. Today is 1/9 and pain isn?t as bad. Can still feel discomfort here and there but not as excruciating. Numbness from time to time also. Is this normal after receiving the Moderna vaccine? Is it normal to experience this a week after receiving the vaccine?

Buzzing in left ear. Visit to PCP - found water in both ears. Treatment with Montelukast 10mg/90 days began 03/31/2022 and is ongoing. Onset was insidious and worsened with time. Exact start of event is uncertain but less than one year. May be occupational hazard (retired airline pilot for 5 years). I have received 2 doses and 2 boosters of Moderna.

Intentional deviation from dosage regimen; Received second dose more than 36 days after first dose; Diagnosed with COVID-19 after first dose of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine; Never really felt bad and if so, it was subtle; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of FEELING ABNORMAL (Never really felt bad and if so, it was subtle), COVID-19 (Diagnosed with COVID-19 after first dose of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine), INTENTIONAL PRODUCT USE ISSUE (Intentional deviation from dosage regimen) and INAPPROPRIATE SCHEDULE OF PRODUCT ADMINISTRATION (Received second dose more than 36 days after first dose) in a 76-year-old male patient who received mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (batch nos. 02SL20A and 027B21A) for COVID-19 vaccination. Concurrent medical conditions included Barrett's esophagus, Blood pressure high and Diabetes (Diabeties Patient take injection for diabeties.). Concomitant products included ESOMEPRAZOLE MAGNESIUM (NEXIUM [ESOMEPRAZOLE MAGNESIUM]) for Barrett's esophagus, CLOPIDOGREL BISULFATE (PLAVIX) for Blood count abnormal, METFORMIN and INSULIN for Diabetes. On 02-Jan-2021, the patient received first dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular) 1 dosage form. On 12-Apr-2021, received second dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular) dosage was changed to 1 dosage form. On 07-Jan-2021, the patient experienced FEELING ABNORMAL (Never really felt bad and if so, it was subtle). On 14-Jan-2021, the patient experienced COVID-19 (Diagnosed with COVID-19 after first dose of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine). On 12-Apr-2021, after starting mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine), the patient experienced INTENTIONAL PRODUCT USE ISSUE (Intentional deviation from dosage regimen) and INAPPROPRIATE SCHEDULE OF PRODUCT ADMINISTRATION (Received second dose more than 36 days after first dose). On 12-Apr-2021, INTENTIONAL PRODUCT USE ISSUE (Intentional deviation from dosage regimen) and INAPPROPRIATE SCHEDULE OF PRODUCT ADMINISTRATION (Received second dose more than 36 days after first dose) had resolved. At the time of the report, FEELING ABNORMAL (Never really felt bad and if so, it was subtle) and COVID-19 (Diagnosed with COVID-19 after first dose of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine) outcome was unknown. DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS (normal ranges are provided in parenthesis if available): On an unknown date, COVID-19: positive (Positive) COVID-19 positive. Lab data includes - Patient tested COVID-19 positive on 7-jan-2021 or 8-jan-2021 Concomitant medications also included unknown blood thinner and heart medications. Treatment medication include antibody infusion for COVID-19 received around 12-JAN-2021
