minor tingling on lips and Tongue; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of PARAESTHESIA ORAL (minor tingling on lips and Tongue) in a 52-year-old male patient who received mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (batch no. 030N20A) for COVID-19 vaccination. No Medical History information was reported. On 05-Feb-2021, the patient received dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular) 1 dosage form. On an unknown date, the patient experienced PARAESTHESIA ORAL (minor tingling on lips and Tongue). At the time of the report, PARAESTHESIA ORAL (minor tingling on lips and Tongue) outcome was unknown. The action taken with mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular) was unknown. Concomitant medications were not provided. Treatment information was not reported.

Symptomtext

Approximately 10-11 hours after receiving the vaccine, my eyes, lips, throat and tongue began to swell. I immediately took Bendryl 50 mg. I had some labored breathing for about 3 hours after taking the Benadryl, and the swelling completely went away about 6 hours later.

Symptomtext

After I received the vaccine I had a sore muscle for three days, I also had joint pain in my hip and knees for about 36 hours . I also had a headache for 24 hours. I took Tylenol for these pains.

Symptomtext

So Approximately 15 hours after my second Moderna vaccine, I started having a high fever, chills and joint pains. I was unable to work for the remainder of that week because I work in the healthcare field. I contacted my DR and had a virtual, and was advised to take Tylenol and by the third day my high fever symptom reduced to 100 degrees. On day five it decreased to 99 degrees but all the other symptoms continued. After a week it was over with no medication.
