On the evening of the injection I felt extreme fatigue (which I understand is not unusual) and went to bed around 9:30 p.m. I was awakened by what seemed like "thundering" in my ears which I think was my blood pressure skyrocketing. I was too weak to move so I called my husband to take me to the emergency room. However, he was too tired to comprehend what I was saying at that hour. With great difficulty I got up and took 2 low dose aspirin and went back to bed, fearful that I would never wake up again. Around an hour (or what seemed like an hour) the thundering in my ear decreased and I was able to fall back to sleep.
