pain in joints/shoulder sore; pain in muscles; xrays show inflamed arthritis; no weight; Fever; Chills; body aches; headache; stomach upset; limping; Lame left arm; left leg and arm sore; Still stiff movement and pain in joints/muscles/Stiff neck/ shoulder; shooting neck pain/the back of my neck felt like i got hit with a baseball bat; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer and described the occurrence of fever in a 63-year-old female patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) (batch number 4CN59) for prophylaxis. On 06-DEC-2022, the patient received Shingles vaccine. On 16-FEB-2023, 72 days after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced fever (Verbatim: Fever), chills (Verbatim: Chills), general body pain (Verbatim: body aches), headache (Verbatim: headache), upset stomach (Verbatim: stomach upset), limping (Verbatim: limping), numbness of upper extremities (Verbatim: Lame left arm), pain in extremity (Verbatim: left leg and arm sore), musculoskeletal stiffness (Verbatim: Still stiff movement and pain in joints/muscles/Stiff neck/ shoulder), neck pain (Verbatim: shooting neck pain/the back of my neck felt like i got hit with a baseball bat) and weight abnormal (Verbatim: no weight). On an unknown date, the patient experienced joint pain (Verbatim: pain in joints/shoulder sore), muscle pain (Verbatim: pain in muscles) and inflammatory arthritis (Verbatim: xrays show inflamed arthritis). The patient was treated with celecoxib (Celebrex) and ibuprofen (Advil). In APR-2023, the outcome of the headache was resolved. The outcome of the fever, chills, general body pain, upset stomach, limping, numbness of upper extremities, pain in extremity, musculoskeletal stiffness, neck pain, joint pain, muscle pain, inflammatory arthritis and weight abnormal were not resolved. It was unknown if the reporter considered the fever, chills, general body pain, headache, upset stomach, limping, numbness of upper extremities, pain in extremity, musculoskeletal stiffness, neck pain, joint pain, muscle pain, inflammatory arthritis and weight abnormal to be related to Shingles vaccine. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 26-JUL-2023 The patient self-reported this case. The patient had very hard work out with sore muscles when not done anything. Neck was still stiff, the back of neck felt like got hit with a baseball bat. The headaches lasted into April. When the patient goes for a walk, she started limping after a while. The left leg and arm, shoulder still sore all the time. The patient was taking advil and when it was worse, she took celebrex. The patient had tiredness of feeling stiff and sore. The reporter consented to follow up.
