My mother received her 3rd dose of Shingrix on April 11, 2022. She had received her 2nd dose on January 31, 2022. She had received the Zostavax dose in 2012. My mother passed away the following day, Tuesday, April 12, 2022. I found her the morning of April 13, 2022, therefore the death certificate lists April 13, 2022 as the date of death. According to the CDC website there are 7 other deaths currently being considered as a result of patients receiving the Shingrix vaccime. According to the Shingrix vaccine, some severe allergic reactions could be difficulty breathing, dizziness, weakness. Others are fever, upset stomach, headache. There were obvious signs in her home that she was experiencing nausea, diarrhea - had ice packs on her bed which would signal fever. There were numerous food items laying on the floor which could be a sign of weakness. A chair was tipped over, maybe signaling that she was dizzy. A bottle of 7-up for upset stomach. She never tried to call anyone for help, which is not like her. Her sister was a nurse and she would occasionally call her with questions. According to the CDC website, 2 of the 7 who have passed previously were immunosuppressed and died of sepsis. My mother was immunocompromised due to her pituitary gland not functioning. Signs of sepsis are chills, fever, fatique, altered level of consciousness or mental confusion. This rendered her unable to call for help. She lived alone. The responding medics advised me that an autopsy would not be required or recommended, they would base their determination off the scene and her medical records. The coroner listed cause of death as congestive heart failure. I strongly feel this 3rd dose of the Shingrix vaccine contributed greatly to her sudden death. She walked 3+ miles daily, rode her bike to work daily for 30 years. She was very health.
