Symptomtext
Child developed rash all over the body 1hr after receiving hep A and Flu shot. Mother requested that his record reflect that he had a reaction to the flu shot and to record that he is not to be ask or given a flu shot again. Mother states that child has had several incidences where he broke out in to hive. States, "he spent most of his summer with hives . His skin had just cleared, when he came and got these two shots. 1hr later he had hives again. She has an appointment for Patient with an allergist in March of 2023 to see what he could possibly be reacting to. She took him to the local Emergency Room for assessment 10/20/2022. The ER physician told her he was possibly reacting to the vaccine and speculated it was probably the flu shot because this was his second in the series of Hep A. Hives are mostly on pts back. Some on arms and legs. No markings or redness around the vaccine sites. As of her report today 10/24/2022, child still has hives. Areas are about the same. ER physician put child on benedryl
