Pt presented to ED with c/o SOB x1 week and c/o CP with deep breath that radiates to Left side and shoulder. Febrile Tmax 101.9, HR 110's and RR 30's. Pt is fully vaccinated with booster. Had exposure to coworkers who tested positive for Covid19. Pt now Covid +. Given po/IV steroids and abx.

Symptomtext

Started with a runny nose - 11th ; body chills (13th-14th) and then a dry cough (14th - 15th) for the rest of the time that I was sick. I was sick through the 22nd or 23rd. No treatment except Tylenol; Advil and Mucinex. On the 31st I went to a doctor - I tested negative but I was still having some digestive issues that had started and some fatigue (physical meltdowns at about 02:00 pm) that started - these started probably right after the coughing stopped. Still have some tightness of breath though. It was a weird cough, I've had asthma my entire life but I have never had a cough like that before. My fatigue started to go away in the last two weeks but I still have the digestive issues. I probably had IBS in high school (early 2000's and late 1990's) but it had gone away all that time and it's just now come back. Stomach cramping; gas and diarrhea - it's everything I faced in high school and it feels like it has come back.

Experienced pain in lower back, lower spine area one day after shot #1. That went away after about a week. After second dose (3 weeks after 1st one), I had no side effects until a few days after when I got the same lower back / spine aching and pain. About a week and a half after second dose, the lower back pain moved to my left hip area and red spots appeared shortly after (a day or two after the hip pain). The spots on my left hip and butt area started to burn and feel irritated... I had mild aching in my pelvis area and lower back (spine) a few days after the shot and still today. I went to the doctor 2 days ago and am currently being treated for shingles. I am a runner, and ever since I got the 1st covid vaccine shot, my running performance has been worse... my pace per mile is about 20% worse (consistently) since the 1st shot. I feel like it did something to my immune system and am still getting over it.

Symptomtext

This is a spontaneous report received from contactable reporter(s) (Consumer or other non HCP). The reporter is the patient. A 64 year-old male patient received bnt162b2 (BNT162B2), administered in arm left, administration date 08Mar2021 (Lot number: EN6199) at the age of 63 years as dose 1, single for Covid-19 immunisation. The patient had no relevant medical history. There were no concomitant medications. The following information was reported: RASH (non-serious), PRURITUS (non-serious) all with onset 01Apr2021, outcome "not recovered" and all described as "About 3 weeks after first injection, developed itchy skin rash at inside left elbow (just below injection site).". The event "about 3 weeks after first injection, developed itchy skin rash at inside left elbow (just below injection site)", and "about 3 weeks after first injection, developed itchy skin rash at inside left elbow (just below injection site)". Was evaluated at the physician office visit. Relevant laboratory tests and procedures are available in the appropriate section. Therapeutic measures were taken as a result of rash, pruritus. Additional information: The patient receive no other vaccines within 4 weeks prior to the COVID vaccine. Patient received no other medications the patient received within 2 weeks of vaccination. Prior to vaccination, the patient was not diagnosed with COVID-19. Since the vaccination, the patient has been tested for COVID-19. The events cleared up after 3-4 weeks. No follow-up attempts are possible. No further information is expected.

Fatigue; Body aches; Headache; Injection site soreness; Brain fog; This is a spontaneous report from a contactable consumer, the patient. A 58-year-old non-pregnant female patient received the second dose of BNT162b2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 mRNA VACCINE; Lot Number: EN7533) via an unspecified route of administration in the left arm on 31Mar2021 at 12:15 (at the age of 58-years-old) as a single dose for COVID-19 immunisation. Medical history included sjogren's syndrome and arthritis. The patient had no known allergies to medications, food or other products. Prior to vaccination, patient was not diagnosed with COVID-19. Concomitant medications were not reported. The patient did not receive any other vaccines within four weeks prior to the COVID vaccine. The patient previously received the first dose of BNT162b2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 mRNA VACCINE; Lot Number: EN6207) via an unspecified route of administration in the left arm on 10Mar2021 at 13:15 (at the age of 58-year-old) as a single dose for COVID-19 immunisation. On 31Mar2021 at 17:30 the patient experienced fatigue, body aches, headache, injection site soreness and brain fog. The events did not result in doctor or other healthcare professional office/clinic, emergency room/department or urgent care. Since the vaccination, the patient had not been tested for COVID-19. No therapeutic measures were taken as a result of the reported events. The clinical outcome of the events fatigue, body aches, headache, injection site soreness and brain fog were recovered on an unknown date in 2021. No follow-up attempts are needed. No further information is expected.
