Symptomtext

3/30/21 after 2nd vax, got rash torso/back, itchy. several wks of itching went to Urgent Care. prescribed oral prednisone 5 days.Cleared up. 6/2021 started getting bumps/itchy areas, dermatologist diagnosed as SUN ALLERGIES. Prescribed HYDROXYZINE 25mg. sort of helped. 10/2021 started getting dry areas. Dermatologist diagnosed eczema-spot treat with prednisone ointment&Aveeno. sort of subsided. then early 2022 got purpura arms/lower legs. Awful, constant red areas, sensitive skin. more details when asked. Purpura has been the worse.

Aktuelle Erkrankungen: not sure if i should report this here......first vax 2/11/2021 as noted above-did not have adverse effects until 2nd vax on 3/12/2021. two weeks after 2nd vax got rash on torso & back, very itchy. I will detail other effects at end of this.

Symptomtext

The patient developed severe arthralgias of multiple joints including bilateral knees, wrists, shoulders 2 days after the second dose of Covid 19 vaccine. The patient has had progressive pain of multiple joints, and migratory arthralgias for 2 weeks. He was evaluated 5/25/2021 initially and no source for his symptoms was found. Throughout the 2 weeks he has had no headaches, dizzyness, lateralizing neurological symptoms, but he did have profuse diaphoresis and mild myalgias. 3 weeks after the onset of symptoms patient has been diagnosed with Parvovirus infection reactivation due to the vaccine. He is responding to Prednisone 60 mg x 2 days, 40 mg x 3 days, 20 mg daily for 5 days and taper as tolerated. Patient also received Doxycycline for tick borne illness treatment until labs were negative. He received Percocet for pain management and Tramadol.
