metallic taste; flushing; rapid heart rate; Fever; burning sensation inside lips, tongue, back of throat, roof of mouth; burning sensation inside lips, tongue, back of throat, roof of mouth; difficulting forming words, stuttering; lack of coordination; This is a spontaneous report from a contactable consumer (patient). A 52-year-old female patient received BNT162B2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 VACCINE; lot number: EN0205), via an unspecified route of administration on the right arm on 02Mar2021 10:15 at a single dose for COVID-19 immunization. Medical history included Hashimoto's Thyroiditis (which was being treated at the time of report), Bell's Palsy and pre-eclampsia both from 20 years ago; patient also had known allergies to sulfa drugs, contrast dye, shellfish and a gluten intolerance. Concomitant medication included levothyroxine sodium (SYNTHROID), liothyronine sodium (LIOTHYRONINE SOD) and rheum rhaponticum root (ESTROVERA). Patient had no other vaccines within four weeks, did not have COVID-19 prior to vaccination, was not pregnant and was vaccinated at a Public Health Clinic/Administration facility. The patient experienced metallic taste, flushing, rapid heart rate, fever, burning sensation inside lips, tongue, back of throat, roof of mouth, difficulting forming words, stuttering, lack of coordination on 02Mar2021 10:15. The adverse events resulted in doctor or other healthcare professional office/clinic visit, emergency room/department or urgent care, and were reported as life-threatening illnesses (immediate risk of death from the event). Therapeutic measures as a result of the events included Benedryl and dexamethasone injection. Patient has not been tested for COVID-19 post-vaccination. Outcome of the events was recovering.

Low back pain; Whole body aches; No energy; Flu like symptoms, but no fever; This is a spontaneous report from a contactable consumer, the patient. A 69-year-old non-pregnant female patient received second dose of BNT162b2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 mRNA VACCINE; Lot Number: EN0205) via an unspecified route of administration in the left arm on 02Mar2021 at 11:30 (at the age of 69-years-old) as a single dose for COVID-19 immunisation. Medical history included familial hypercholesterolemia, cardiovascular disorder, arthritis, Hashimoto's disease, attention deficit disorder and hypertension. The patient had known allergies (unspecified allergies). Prior to the vaccination, the patient was not diagnosed with COVID-19. The patient did not receive any other vaccines within four weeks prior to the COVID-19 vaccine. The patient received other medications within 2 weeks of vaccination. The patient previously received the first dose of BNT162b2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 mRNA VACCINE; Lot Number: EM9810) via an unspecified route of administration in the left arm on 08Feb2021 at 11:30 (at the age of 69-years-old) as a single dose for COVID-19 immunisation. On 02Mar2021 at 18:30, the patient experienced low back pain, whole body aches, no energy, flu like symptoms, but no fever. The events did not result in doctor or other healthcare professional office/clinic visit, emergency room/department or urgent care. Therapeutic measures were not taken as a result of the event. Since the vaccination, the patient had not been tested for COVID-19. The clinical outcomes of the events low back pain, whole body aches, no energy, flu like symptoms, but no fever were not recovered at the time of this report. No follow-up attempts are needed. joint pain; muscle pain; fatigue; maybe he has Covid, a mild case of Covid 19; Pain; Take 5 naps a day because you can't focus or work; This is a spontaneous report from a contactable consumer (patient). A 72-years-old male patient received second dose of BNT162B2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH mRNA COVID-19 VACCINE, Solution for injection, Lot number: EN0205) via unspecified route of administration on 05Mar2021 as single dose for COVID-19 immunisation. Medical history included type 2 diabetic. Historical vaccine included BNT162B2 for COVID-19 immunization. Concomitant medications were not reported. It was reported that patient received the second dose a little over 30 days ago. Approximately a week after the first dose he had a rough day and experienced joint and muscle pain, fatigue, and it went away within a day or so. He was more concerned that 3 weeks after the second dose these symptoms came back and lingered for 4-5 days, and he could barely get out of bed. Today he feels like a new person, but he is very concerned. He was concerned if it wasn't the vaccine what caused these effects? He has an appointment with his HCP later today. Everything he was read says there are no long term side effects but he thinks he's having some long term side effects. He would like to let Pfizer know what is happening to him. He has had both Covid 19 vaccines. The second dose of Covid 19 vaccine he received about 30 days ago and he had no side effects immediately after. About 3 weeks after receiving the second Covid 19 vaccine he got hit pretty hard with joint and muscle pain and fatigue. He was out for a day and a half. Then his symptoms went away. Then a few days later the joint and muscle pain and fatigue came back. The joint and muscle pain and fatigue lasted about 5 days and it was pretty intense. Then about 5 days later it subsided. He states maybe he has the Covid 19 virus. He's getting a Covid 19 virus test later on today, 12Apr2021. Is this commonly reported. Any information on these side effects and how they occurred weeks after the Covid 19 vaccine. Long term side effects? He did call the CDC and that was a waste of time. He states they have junior people answering the phone who don't understand the questions. HCP: Caller declines When probing for specific event details, the caller reports he experienced the first bout of joint and muscle pain and fatigue around 03Apr2021- 04Apr2021. Then it went away. Then around 07Apr2021 the joint and muscle pain and fatigue came back and has lasted through this morning, 12Apr2021. Today he feels better. But the joint and muscle pain and fatigue goes away then comes back and he doesn't know what's going to happen next week with the joint and muscle pain and fatigue. Second Covid 19 vaccine received on 05Mar2021, Lot EN0205. First Covid 19 vaccine information is in Suspect Product formal fields. When probing concomitant medications, the caller reports he's been taking the same medications for a long time, he does not feel his medications are relevant. His diabetes is well controlled. When probing for information if caller had gone to his doctor, he reports not yet. He has a Covid 19 test today, maybe he has Covid, a mild case of Covid 19. He has a telemedicine visit scheduled with his primary care doctor for this afternoon. No follow-up attempts are needed. No further information is expected.

Felt discomfort on my left lymph node right away, 1 hour later I was light headed, hot and sweaty one minute and freezing the next, could not taste food for 10-12 hours but could smell everything and last developed a splitting headache that lasted a few days.

Symptomtext

Extreme bilateral leg weakness (proximal and distal) with multiple episodes of falls due to inability to bare weight on the legs due to the weakness. Reported paralysis of the lower extremities for up to two minutes on multiple occasions. Had up to 6 falls due to these events leading to hospitalization. One fall he could not get up for over 1/2 hour due to the leg weakness/paralysis as he fell between a snowblower and lawnmower and could not get his legs to work.
