Symptomtext

Approximately 2 days after injection #2 in the right arm, swelling of the right IB or IIA lymph node was noticeable. Swelling lasted about 1 hour and shank rapidly. Approximately 5 days after injection #3 in the right arm, swelling of the right IB or IIA lymph node was noticeable and painful. The swelling persisted for two (2) days and I went to my Dr's office on the second day. The office PA examined me and my neck and asked me to apply compresses and monitor the swelling for another day . If it did not reduce within a day or two I should return and they would run further testing. Within that day the pain subsided and the swelling started to reduce after applying a compress. The swelling subsided.

Symptomtext

Little jaw pain started on 27Feb2021 and Right side by ear. Extreme jaw pain on 28 Mar2021, right side by ear; This is a spontaneous report received from a contactable patient, the patient. A 43-year-old non-pregnant female patient received first dose of BNT162b2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 mRNA VACCINE; Lot number: EN1698) via unspecified route of administration on left arm on 24Feb2021 at 14:30 (at the age of 43-year-old) as a single dose for COVID-19 immunisation. The patient received second dose of BNT162b2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 mRNA VACCINE; Lot number: EP7534) via unspecified route of administration on left arm on 17Mar2021 (at the age of 43-year-old) as a single dose for COVID-19 immunisation. Past medical history included irritable bowel syndrome and the patient woke up a lot while sleeping. Concomitant medication included famotidine (MANUFACTURER UNKNOWN) 20 mg morning and evening and unspecified over-the-counter (OTC) Vitamins (MANUFACTURER UNKNOWN) from an unspecified date for unknown indication. Prior to the vaccination, the patient was not diagnosed with COVID-19. Since the vaccination, the patient was not tested for COVID-19. The patient did not receive any other vaccines within 4 weeks prior to the COVID vaccine. On 27Feb2021 at 10:00 (after the first dose), the patient experienced little jaw pain, right side by ear. The patient experienced extreme jaw pain, right side by ear on 28Mar2021 (after second dose). The patient was nearly in tears, eating scrambled eggs for breakfast. It had gotten better, but the pain is not gone at the time of this report. Hurts completely when opened the mouth and ate larger or chewy things. The patient never experienced this level of pain in this area before. The event resulted in doctor or other healthcare professional office/clinic visit. It was unknown whether any therapeutic measure was taken in response to the event. The clinical outcome of event jaw pain was not resolved at the time of this report. No follow-up attempts are needed. No further information is expected.
