Symptomtext

A 54 yo female with a history of CKD, coronary artery disease, diabetes mellitus, and hypertension presents to the ED with complaints of SOB that began on 7/24. The patient states that she had an associated fever and cough as of yesterday. She reports that she is currently fully vaccinated against COVID-19. The SOB is constant, mild in severity, and has no known alleviating or exacerbating factors. The patient upon arrival to the ED had an oxygen saturation of 76%. The patient denies chest pain, vomiting, rash, or any to her acute symptoms.

Symptomtext

Developed symptoms of SARS-CoV-2 infection including shortness of breath, cough and was tested due to persistence of symptoms despite antibiotic treatment. Antigen testing was positive. Approximately 1 week after symptom onset patient was noted to be lethargic and confused by family who contacted EMS. Patient was hypoxic in ER and required 8 L of O2. Was admitted with COVID-19. Subsequently did decompensate on the floor and required intubation. Currently intubated receiving remdesivir, dexamethasone, and antibiotics.

Patient was fully vaccinated with Pfizer covid 19 vaccine. She received doses on 01/28/2021 and 02/20/2021. She subsequently was infected with Covid 19. Her symptoms started on 8/13/2021. She visited MinuteClinic and tested positive for Covid 19 on 8/15/2021. Health outcome is unknown.

After my shot, I came down the parodists. It felt like a heart attack. It affects the lining of the heart. I went to the ER about this. They did EKG, blood work, and a x-ray. These symptoms lasted for about 3 months.
