exacerbated his bipolar/Bipolar affective disorder aggravated; severe temple pain on the left side of his face/Temporal headache/pain in his head; severe earache; Tinnitus; Drooling; Congestion/Respiratory tract congestion; does not walk right, clarifies he has vertigo; minimal, very little sensation on left side of his face/Sensation loss; had minimum arthritis and now it is throughout his whole body is filled with arthritis in every joint/Arthritis; Sciatica; mental anguish above the norm/Anguish; pain in his face; trigeminal/trigeminal nerve disorder; This is a spontaneous report received from contactable reporter(s) (Consumer or other non HCP) from medical information team. The reporter is the patient. A 75-year-old male patient received bnt162b2 (BNT162B2), on 23Mar2021 as dose 1, single (Lot number: EN5368) at the age of 75 years, in arm for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history included: "bipolar diagnosed" (unspecified if ongoing), notes: bipolar diagnosed about 40 plus years ago; "minimum arthritis" (ongoing). Concomitant medication(s) included: LITHIUM taken for bipolar disorder (ongoing). The patient underwent the following laboratory tests and procedures: Testing: a bunch of different testing. Therapeutic measures were taken as a result of bipolar disorder, headache, ear pain, tinnitus, drooling, respiratory tract congestion, vertigo, sensory loss, arthritis, sciatica, anxiety, facial pain, trigeminal nerve disorder. Clinical course: Indication as reported by the primary source: Fear. Additional Information for other medicines Lithium: taking for 40 years. If he used to get up early he would take it and if he went to bed late, he would take it, he did not take it consistently but took it regularly, 600mg a day. The reaction started about a month give or take from the vaccination. Reaction started with severe temple pain on the left side of his face, severe earache. Not too long after he got tinnitus. He experienced drooling, like a baby drools. He experienced congestion and still had the congestion. It seemed like every single tiny thing he had was exacerbated by that covid shot. If he had a little bit of this and little bit that then it exploded. He went to the emergency room half a dozen times due to the pain in his face, this is on record. He confirmed he was not admitted to hospital during these times. He mentioned stance, when he did not walk right, clarified he had vertigo. He saw 6 neurologists, 2 neurosurgeons (from Clinic name withheld), 2 acupuncturists, 2 chiropractors. Nobody knew anything. Outcome: minimal, very little sensation on left side of his face, could not get rid of tinnitus, stance was good. He had minimum arthritis and now it was throughout his whole body was filled with arthritis in every joint, this happened overnight. He was thinking the shot magnified every little thing he had going on in his body. These could be verified. He understood it affected the nervous system and that affected the body. He was a very sensitive person. Finalizing and realized he may had missed little glitch here or there. He did his damndest to try and contain or control this and so far he was doing a little better. Seems like something else was popping up like a sciatica and did not know where that came from. Treatment: Doctor went through a regular routine, one doctor went through everything and would not do what was most important and thought it was trigeminal and it was not per the surgeon. Just got a runaround. He was an old man and should not had been put through all that. He got relief from a intravenous product, did not know what it was, and it took away the pain from his temple. Stated it was something that had the letters PTC in it. This was captured as provided. The pain in his head initially was excruciating and it is down to a minimum. It had to be a nerve. It had just been almost 3 years of anguish. He forgot to mention that it may had exacerbated his bipolar, he was not suicidal or homicidal, and he was in mental anguish above the norm. This was verifiable per his neighbors that wanted to kill him. His neighbor worked for Pfizer and never came across anybody that was so sensitive to anything or everything like the caller.
