Symptomtext

Red; swollen; itchy; warm bump; resulted in longer bleeding; Induced my period and resulted in longer bleeding; delayed hypersensitivity reaction in left arm a week after vaccination; This is a spontaneous report from a contactable consumer or other non hcp (patient). A 31-years-old non-pregnant female patient received first dose of BNT162B2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 VACCINE, solution for injection), dose 1 via an unspecified route of administration, administered in Arm Left on 13Mar2021 (at the age of 31-Years-old) (Batch/Lot Number: EN6062) as DOSE 1, SINGLE for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's medical history included hypothyroidism, PCOS and allergies to Shellfish. Patient was not pregnant at the time of vaccination. Concomitant medication included levothyroxine sodium (SYNTHROID) and multivitamin. On 14Mar2021, the patient experienced induced my period and resulted in longer bleeding, red, swollen, itchy, warm bump, resulted in longer bleeding. On an unknown date in Mar2021, patient experienced delayed hypersensitivity reaction in left arm a week after vaccination. Event resulted in physician office visit. Patient did not have covid prior vaccination. Patient was not tested for covid post vaccination. Patient did not receive other vaccine in four weeks. Patient received Prednisone, Benadryl, and Dilation and Curation was the treatment received for the events. Therapeutic measures were taken as a result of events. At the time of this report, the outcome of event was recovering. No follow-up attempts are possible. No further information is expected.

Symptomtext

PATIENT ARRIVED AT PHARMACY FEELING DIZZY, LIGHTHEADED AND ITCHYNESS ON FACE. NO TROUBLE BREATHING. SLIGHTLY IN PANICKED STATE. HE WAS DRIVING FROM A store ON THE WAY HOME AFTER RECEVING HIS VACCINATION WHEN HE EXPERIENCED THESE SYMPTOMS. STOPPED BY OUR store AFTER FEELING LIKE HE MAY PASS OUT FROM DIZZINESS. IMMEDIATELY HAD PATIENT SIT DOWN AND ADMINISTERED BENADRYL 50MG AFTER CHECKING PATIENT WAS ABLE TO BREATHE, SWALLOW, AND TALK. MONITORED PATIENT FOR THE NEXT 30 MINUTES UNTIL HE CLAIMED HE FELT MUCH BETTER AND WANTED TO DRIVE HOME. OFFERED TO CALL 911 WHEN HE SAT BUT PATIENT REFUSED. COUNSELED PATIENT ON DROWSINESS FROM BENADRYL AND THAT IT MAY WEAR OFF LATER.
