fever; did not feel well; nauseous; headache; tired; my knuckles were swollen; hands achy; This is a spontaneous report from a contactable consumer(patient). A 66-year-old non pregnant female patient received second dose of BNT162B2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 VACCINE, Solution for injection, Batch/Lot Number: EN620Y) via an unspecified route of administration, administered in Arm Right on 10Mar2021 11:30 (At the age of 66-year-old) as single dose for COVID-19 immunization.Medical history included cardiac pacemaker insertion, thyroidectomy, endocrine neoplasm from 2013 to an unknown date. Concomitant medications included levothyroxine, metoprolol succinate tablet taken for an unspecified indication, start and stop date were not reported. The Patient previously received first dose of BNT162B2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 VACCINE, Solution for injection, Batch/Lot Number: EN6198) via an unspecified route of administration, administered in Arm Right on 17Feb2021 11:30 (At the age of 66-year-old) as single dose for COVID-19 immunization and after the first shot the patient hands and fingers started hurting and swelling with knots on the joints - Thumbs were especially bad where she even had a hard time getting dressed. The patient did not received any other vaccine in four weeks. On an unspecified date, the patient experienced fever, did not feel well, nauseous, headache, tired. On 11Mar2021 my knuckles were swollen, hands achy. The patient underwent lab tests and procedures which included body temperature was 101.9. The patient didn't think much about it having anything to do with the covid vaccine and hands were still bothering her when she got the second shot 3 weeks later and the next morning her knuckles were swollen, hands achy, couldn't make a fist and her middle finger and thumb on her right hand are really bad and also after the second shot she ran a fever as high as 101.9, nauseous, bad headache, very tired, achy and just generally did not feel well. It lasted almost 48 hours and that part did not surprise her because she knew those symptoms were possible, but her hands are still bothering. She have never had this problem with her hands and it is interfering with her daily activities. She cannot open anything, she have trouble picking up things and drop them. It is hard to pull her pants up or button her shirts and hands ache was constantly. The outcome of the events fever, did not feel well, nauseous, headache, tired was recovered on an unspecified date, other events was not recovered. No follow-up attempts are possible. No further information is expected.
