Symptomtext

Patient received vaccination and was monitored for adverse events after approximately 20 minutes patient presented with tingling in lips, tightness in throat and wheezing. Patient self administered 25 mg diphenhydramine orally and was given Dexamethasone 4mg IM left deltoid as per standing orders and onsite provider orders.

Symptomtext

Patient was seated in observation area post administration of Pfizer COVID 19 Vaccination. Patient noted a sudden onset of flushing (warm) feeling to face and chest. Patient's feet were elevated, 50 mg Diphenhydramine PO administered per standing order and provider direction. Patient reported recovery from flushing symptoms approximately 5 minutes after initial onset and evaluation.
