On 3/19/2021, I drank 4 cups of coffee and 2 Monster energy drinks. I also received a prescription of Provigil in the mail, and I took one pill. In about 30 minutes, I didn't feel well. I checked my blood pressure, which was about 166/95. I called the Medical Center advice nurse, and she told me to call 911. I was taken by ambulance to the ER at the Hospital. Three EKGs were done (one at home, one in the ambulance, one at the ER), as were also a chest X-ray and a CAT scan of the head. However, I got no report of any diagnoses or other findings. I stayed overnight in the hospital and was transferred by ambulance to Hospital Center on 3/20/2021. I stayed there until the afternoon of 3/21/2021 and I then went home. On the evening of 3/21/2021, I checked my pulse, which was 37. I again called the Medical Center advice nurse, and an ambulance was sent. This time, I was taken to another Hospital Center. Once again, 3 EKGs, a chest X-ray, and a CAT scan of the brain were done. I was also hooked to a heart monitor and an oximeter. Early in the morning on 3/22/2021, a doctor came and told me that no abnormalities were found and that I could go home. On several subsequent occasions, I had a really low pulse rate, and I was again advised by the advice nurse to go to the ER. I was tired, though, and didn't feel like going to the hospital. I just stayed home instead. I'm still having a lot of dizziness. I discontinued artificial sweeteners, and my low pulse doesn't seem to have been a problem since.
