have had pins and needles since shortly after the vaccine. It started out muted on right thigh, then on the bottom of left foot - and then strengthen in intensity - through out my body; This is a spontaneous report from a contactable consumer, the patient. A 44-year-old non-pregnant female patient received the first dose of BNT162b2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 mRNA VACCINE; Lot Number: EN7203) via an unspecified route of administration in the right arm on 05Apr2021 at 11:00 (at the age of 44-year-old) as a single dose for COVID-19 immunisation. Medical history included back pain [Occasional back pain (not for years though)]. Prior to vaccination, the patient was not diagnosed with COVID-19. The patient had no known allergies to medications, food or other products. Concomitant medications included vitamins nos, minerals nos, nutrients nos (MINERALS NOS; NUTRIENTS NOS; VITAMINS NOS) from unknown date for an unknown indication and unknown if ongoing. The patient did not receive any other vaccines within four weeks prior to the vaccination. On 05Apr2021 at 11:15, the patient experienced pins and needles since shortly after the vaccine. It started out muted on right thigh, then on the bottom of left foot - and then strengthen in intensity - throughout the body. Left finger, right calf, too left of her head, right eye lid, across stomach - sporadic and random - lasting anywhere from a flash to five seconds, up to 10 seconds - typically a flash. The muted pins and needles lasted 3 days, then strengthened, and were consistent in strength - and continued to be random and sporadic with no pattern. The event resulted in doctor or other healthcare professional office/clinic visit. The patient did not receive any treatment for the event. Since the vaccination, the patient had not been tested for COVID-19. The clinical outcome of the event pins and needles flash was not recovered at the time of this report. No follow-up attempts are needed. No further information is expected.
