experiencing cramps; Stomach has been upset; Dry heaves; while walking, legs feel really heavy; weakness/Really weak/Have no energy; Eyes glossy and heavy/her eyes are not clear and bright and shiny; Eyes glossy and heavy/her eyes are not clear and bright and shiny; Drippy eyes/watering eyes; muscle ache and pain; Chills; Fever; Feeling miserable; cough; flu-like symptoms/Like the worst flu I have ever imagined; weak legs that are heavy; difficulty walking; a runny nose; diarrhea; I've never been so sick; headache; feeling unwell; Fatigue; This is a spontaneous report from a contactable consumer (patient). A 73-year-old female patient received second dose of BNT162B2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 VACCINE, Solution for injection, Lot Number: EN7534; Expiration Date: Jul2021), via an unspecified route of administration, administered in Arm Left on 27Mar2021 14:00 (at the age of 73-year-old) as single dose for COVID-19 immunization. The patient medical history was not reported. Concomitant medication(s) included pravastatin; gabapentin; levothyroxine sodium (THYROXINE), all taken for an unspecified indication, start and stop date were not reported. The patient had no additional vaccines administered. The patient previously received first dose of BNT162B2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 VACCINE, Solution for injection, Lot Number: EN6199; Expiration Date: Jun2021), via an unspecified route of administration, administered in Arm Left on 06Mar2021 (at the age of 73-year-old) as single dose for COVID-19 immunization and she had no reaction to the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. The patient had no family medical history relevant to AE(s). The patient received her second dose of the Pfizer-Biontech Covid19 vaccine on Saturday 27Mar2021. She reported that later that night she started with a cough, and symptoms have developed to include: flu-like symptoms, weak legs that are heavy, difficulty walking, a runny nose, diarrhea, and "general unwell-ness". She described her experience as "feel like have the worst flu" and, she had never been so sick. Patient stated, first shot did not give me any trouble, but the second shot has been killing me. She had been never so sick. The patient wanted to report that she had been sickened and sick. She had like the worst flu reaction possible. She had headache, muscle ache and pain, chills, fever, runny nose, cough and definitely feeling unwell and its had been since Saturday (27Mar2021). So it was Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, today (31Mar2021) is Wednesday and still feel terrible. Patient stated, this was the worst experienced of her life, she had never been so sick this so sick, so weak, so sick honestly. The patient had never been so sick, she felt like she had the worst flu weak legs heavy to walk, runny nose headache and that diarrhea. General un-wellness. She had a small cough start during the evening of Saturday, 27Mar2021. Patient reported that her cough seemed to go away. Her runny nose began on Sunday, 28Mar2021 and that now she was done with that. Patient reported that feels really weak now and that the weakness had been there since Monday, 29Mar2021. She was just miserable Sunday, 28Mar2021. Patient's daughter reported from the background that the patient's eyes had been constantly watering and that Sunday, 28Mar2021, the patient couldn't walk. She took Tylenol and her headache seemed to go away. Extra strength Tylenol, 2 pills. She had an overall feeling of unwell. Patient stated that if she had known this is how she would feel after receiving the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine that she would not have gotten it. Patient inquired how long her side effects are going to last. The patient also had drippy eyes and eyes glossy and heavy. When queried about her watering eyes, patient reported that her eyes are not clear and bright and shiny. Stomach had been upset: Patient reported that today (31Mar2021) she was experiencing cramps and diarrhea. Patient reported that the dry heaves were not too bad today, 31Mar2021. The patient was feeling miserable with this shot, the Covid-19 vaccine. Patient reported that this was the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine and that it had made her feel like she had the worst flu she had ever imagined. Patient reported that she was 4 days into it and she was still not feeling better. Patient reported that she didn't go to her doctor and she doesn't think he'll be any help. Patient reported that she cancelled an appointment for Tuesday, 30Mar2021, because she felt too lousy to drive over to her doctor's office. Patient stated that she had not been this sick in she can't tell when. Patient reported that she had no reaction to the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. Patient again stated that if someone had told her that she would get this sick, she wouldn't have gotten the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. Patient states this had been going on for 4 days now, and would like to know how long till she feel better. The patient was informed that fatigue and malaise are commonly reported. No information on respiratory symptoms. The frequencies we have are from the 7-days after either dose, but there have been reports of AEs up to 30 days after the second dose. The 30 days is not duration of symptoms, just that AE's were reported in that time frame. Referred patient back to HCP for treatment if symptoms continue to persist or are bothersome. AE(s) did not require a visit to Emergency Room or Physician Office. The patient had no relevant tests done. Outcome of events cough, runny nose, headache was recovered in Mar2021; drippy eyes was recovered on 30Mar2021; fatigue, cramps, muscle ache and pain was unknown; other events was not recovered. No follow-up attempts are needed. No further information is expected.
