Symptomtext
I was born with a congenital heart defect, so I had surgery when I was 9 years old. Historically I've always been aware of things happening with my heart. I haven't been to a cardiologist for several years. And I was trying to find out about my BP after a medication change. So I went to the cardiologist and got an EKG and did a stress test and an echo. The doctor explained that my heart was leaking blood back through the valve when I saw my echocardiogram. Since November/December, it feels like my heart is flopping around in my chest and that's apparently the valve. And I was put on the medication Bystolic as needed. That's all new. With my history, my aortic valve was never a problem. It feels like my heart is bouncing around in my chest. Not a great feeling.
