Symptomtext
About 2-3 minutes after receiving the vaccine, my throat begin to swell and get itchy. It was a bit hard to swallow. After about 5 minutes my lips were also very itchy. My husband, who is with me is a nurse/paramedic firefighter so we did leave the CVS once my reaction began as I was embarrassed and didn't want anyone to know. I have an epinephrine inhaler (Primatene mist) that I took two big puffs of, (.25 mg) and 2 bendaryl capsule. After a few minutes the symptoms in my throat/lips etc. went away. I did have hives all over my chest for a few hours after the injection.
