Symptomtext

I informed nurse giving the vaccine that I had a mild reaction to the first injection the month before. He noted this and informed me to have the technician in the waiting room call him if I have a similar reaction. Within 5 minutes of being in the waiting room after receiving my second vaccine, my mouth and lips started to tingle. Then my throat began to slowly constrict. I informed the technician, who got the nurse immediately. He gave me a Benadryl, took my BP and called the MD. I was asked to stay in the waiting room for the next hour. My symptoms never worsened. I went home after an hour without any post events.

Beginning the day of the 2nd dose I had elevated BPs (160s/110s) and tachycardia (100s) while at rest, no matter from which arm or position taken). It has taken approximately 3 weeks for my HR to return close to baseline at rest but my diastolic BPs remain in the 90s (my resting baseline is 120-130/70-80 BP, 60-70 HR). I am now 4 1/2 weeks post-2nd dose and still 130-140/90s but HR 70s. Also, I had been diagnosed with CIDP earlier in the year and since the 2nd dose I have been increasingly fatigued and have pronounced hand and foot weakness each passing week--I have walking difficulty at this time and am unable to grasp and lift even 3# weights.

A 48-year-old female patient (not pregnant) received BNT162B2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 VACCINE), administered in arm right, administration date 11Mar2021 13:30 (Lot number: EN6199) at the age of 48 years as dose 1, single for covid-19 immunisation. Relevant medical history included: "Iron deficiency anemia" (unspecified if ongoing); "Tachycardia" (unspecified if ongoing). Concomitant medication(s) included: METOPROLOL; BABY ASPIRIN; MAGNESIUM; TURMERIC [CURCUMA LONGA]. Past drug history included: Amoxicillin, reaction(s): "Drug allergy". The following information was reported: BREAST PAIN (non-serious) with onset 2021, outcome "unknown", described as ""Breast pain right breast"". Therapeutic measures were not taken as a result of breast pain. Additional Information: The patient was allergic to "omitted" (as reported). Prior to the vaccination, the patient was not diagnosed with COVID-19. Since the vaccination, the patient had not been tested for COVID-19. Pain at injection site was within an hour, seven hours later pain is radiating through out left arm, Left side neck stiffness, into left side upper back & down into hips to calf left side only. Off & on,ringing in left ear off & on, low grade fever through out 1st night. Have been taking Aleve & Tylenol....alternating. Fever under control, aches, pain, dizziness & ear ringing continues after 24 hours.

A 36-year-old female non-pregnant patient received BNT162B2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 mRNA VACCINE, Formulation: Solution for injection, Batch/Lot number: ENG 6199, Expiration date: not reported), via an unspecified route of administration in arm left on 06Mar2021 at 13:45 (at the age of 36-year-old) as a dose 1, single for COVID-19 immunization. The patient's medical history included Hypothyroidism, ADHD, GAD. The patient had no known allergies. The patient's concomitant medications in two weeks included lisdexamfetamine mesylate (VYVANSE), guanfacine hydrochloride (INTUNIV), escitalopram, levothyroxine sodium (SYNTHROID), vitamin, all were taken for an unspecified indication. It was reported that, the patient was not pregnant at time of vaccination. No other vaccine in four weeks. No covid prior vaccination and no covid tested post vaccination. A 61-year-old female patient received dose 2 of BNT162B2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 MRNA VACCINE; lot number ENG6199) via an unspecified route of administration on 27Mar2021 at 10:00 (at the age of 61-years-old) as a single dose in the left arm for COVID-19 immunization. Medical history included high blood pressure. The patient was not pregnant at the time of vaccination. The patient did not receive any other vaccines within 4 weeks prior to the vaccine. The patient was not diagnosed with COVID-19 prior to the vaccine. Concomitant medications included amlodipine besilate (NORVAC), daily multivitamin, "estradiol and prog" from unspecified dates for unspecified indications. The patient previously received dose 1 of BNT162B2 (lot number ENG202) on 06Mar2021 at 10:00 as a single dose for COVID-19 immunization. On 29Mar2021, the patient started with back pain that went down the left leg; "nerve pain down left leg." The patient visited a doctor for the event. The patient underwent lab tests and procedures that included X-rays and "possible MRI." The outcomes of back pain that went down the left leg and nerve pain were not recovered. A 55-year-old male patient received the first dose of bnt162b2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 VACCINE) via an unspecified route of administration, administered in left arm on 12Mar2021 00:30 (lot number: ENG6199) (at age 55 years old) as single dose for covid-19 immunization administered in a pharmacy or drug store. The patient had no relevant medical history. No known allergies. The patient had no covid prior to vaccination and was not tested post vaccination. Concomitant medication included tramadol taken for numbing shot for tooth, start and stop date were not reported. No other vaccines received in four weeks. The patient experienced the following with his first dose of the Pfizer vaccine. Shot was painful and in about 15 to 20 minutes later everything felt fine. But by the time he and his wife drove out of town, he started to get HOT with the sweats, terrible headache, dizziness and started to lose his vision. He pulled over to let his wife drive and by the time he got out of the car he could barely navigate to the passenger side. They turned around and headed for the hospital, 8 min away, at this time he couldn't see anything, he was nauseated but knew the hospital was pretty close. During this whole time his heart rate never raced just kept and even beat. His breathing was also just fine. By the time they got into the parking lot his vision was slowly getting better, so they sat in the parking lot for 30 minutes with the air conditioner on as high as it could go. His wife read through the side effects, he was experiencing many on the list. They left without going in. Onset of the events was reported as 12Mar2021 12:45 AM. Treatment was not given for the events. The patient recovered from the event "shot was painful" on 12Mar2021; while recovered from the rest of the events on an unspecified date in Mar2021.

Symptomtext

After receiving vaccine and being directed to waiting area for 30 min of observation, I felt lightheaded and dizziness within 5 minutes of sitting down. Nurses on site at vaccination facility provided me with apple juice and I felt better. I laid down on medical bed for remainder of the 30 minutes and was able to walk out of vaccination site on my own.

Patient called Monday 3-15-21 to report on Saturday 3-13-2021 She developed a few hives on 1 finger, on thumb near ribcage & on both elbows. Patches were itchy & cortisone cream helped relieve symptoms.

Symptomtext

Onset of fever (101 degree Fahrenheit occurred at approximately 3:30 pm (3.5 hours following vaccination. The fever was accompanied by significant fatigue and joint discomfort. Over the counter analgesic (acetaminophen) was taken. The symptoms lasted until approximately 8:30 pm, when the fever broke. Joint pain and fatigue remained through evening and night. No symptoms were present the following morning.
