Symptomtext

Heart palpatations began within two weeks of the 2nd dose of the pfizer covid vaccine. Palpatations occured several times a day, causing a shortness of breath each time. In the beginning the palpatations were mild, but by mid-April they became stronger and more frequent. Primary physician performed an EKG 4/26/21 and a week with a cardiac monitor. The diagnosis was premature ventricular contractions. Primary physician referred me out to a cardiologist. In early June he cardiologist also performed and EKG and in mid-June a nuclear stress test. The diagnosis was the same - premature ventricular contractions. No further testing or treatments given. As of October 2021 (7 months after the 2nd dose of the covid vaccine) the PVCs persist. They are not as frequent or as forceful, but occur several times a day. Shortness of breath is still present with and without the PVCs occuring.

New onset of rapid change in heart rate (accompanied by dizziness/lightheadedness) upon standing noticed in May 2021. The sensation in the chest feels like heart burn but appears upon standing. Routinely heart rate will change from 66-75 BPM to 104+ BPM following a change of position from reclined to standing and only 3-5 steps.

At Dr. appointment in March 2021 for separate condition, provider noticed rapid change in heartrate and performed EKG resulted with sinus arrhythmia and right axis deviation. Follow up EKG 1 month later showed only sinus arrhythmia. Note that sinus arrhythmia on EKG was first-ever noted in July 2020 during ED visit for acute migraine with stroke presentation.

pain started in calf and moved more intensely at first into the ankle and foot. After a week or so pain lessened but kept moving from back of thigh to back of the knee, calf and ankle. After a few weeks, I noted that my right calf and ankle were swollen to an inch and half and inch respectively compared to the left leg. I had concerns about blood clots but did not find any information of the being a known side effect of the vaccine. I saw my PPC in October and presented the issue, but he did not think it to be a problem. In May of this year i read a post from a fellow senior cyclist being treat for DVT. I called my PCP and at the appointment I again presented the symptoms. He referred me for an ultrasound and appointment with a hematologist. I met with him, and he prescribed 4 months of a blood thinner, and compression socks. The two interventions have provided relief from both the pain, and swelling.

Joint bone pain entire body still have it; hands, wrists, ankles and feet had shooting burning pains; can't function, type, cook, or anything; hands, wrists, ankles and feet had shooting burning pains; This is a spontaneous report from a contactable consumer (patient) received via the regulatory authority. A non-pregnant 54-year-old female patient received BNT162B2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 VACCINE, solution for injection), via an unspecified route of administration, administered on the left arm on 17Mar2021 05:15 (Lot Number: Eng204) (at the age of 54 years old) as dose 1, single for COVID-19 immunisation (also reported as dose number 2 on 17Mar2021 at 17:15 Lot Number: En6204; for confirmation). The vaccine was administered in a Pharmacy or Drug Store. The patient's medical history included asthma, inflammatory bowel disease, and known allergies: penicillin and latex. Concomitant medications included ipratropium bromide;salbutamol sulfate (COMBIVENT), montelukast, and "ALBATROS" for unspecified indications. The patient did not receive any other vaccines within 4 weeks prior to the COVID vaccine. The patient was not diagnosed with COVID-19 prior to vaccination nor was tested for COVID-19 since vaccination. On 16Apr2021 02:00, the patient experienced "Joint bone pain entire body still have it". The patient can't function, type, cook, or anything. The hands, wrists, ankles, and feet had shooting burning pains. The events resulted in a Doctor or other healthcare professional office/clinic visit and Emergency room/department or urgent care. The patient received prednisone as a treatment. The patient has not recovered from the events. No follow-up attempts are possible. No further information is expected.

I had itchiness and swelling around my eye. I thought it was a bug bite but it kept getting worse. Eventually, I had a rash around my eyes, my forehead, my hair. I went to the urgent care where they prescribed me an antiviral. The antiviral seems to be slowing things down. I am also now experiencing a crawling sensation throughout my body. It feels as if a bug crawling on me. This is something new that I have never experienced before.

Symptomtext

I had extensive surgery on my left hand in fall of 2019. The adverse reaction was after I received my 1st shot in my left upper arm. The vaccine seems to have settled in the nerves, transplanted tendons and ligaments involved in the surgery. The pain in my operation area has been very bad, and continues to this day, 04/19/2021. It has been like a decovery set back.

3/24/2021 - Soreness at injection site, nearly resolved at 3/29/2021 3/25/2021 - Fever of 99.5, took acetaminophen, resolved after 4 fours 3/27/2021 - Red spot about 2-1/2 inches in diameter near injection site appeared 3 days after vaccination, sore and slightly raised, lighter in color at 3/29/2021 and not sore or raised.

This is a spontaneous report received from contactable reporter(s) (Consumer or other non HCP). The reporter is the patient. A 63-year-old female patient (not pregnant) received BNT162b2 (BNT162B2), on 24Feb2021 at 13:15 as dose number unknown, single (Lot number: ENG200), in left arm and on 24Mar2021 at 13:15 as dose number unknown, single (Lot number: ENG204) at the age of 62 years, in left arm for Covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history included: "DCIS Breast Cancer Diagnosis", start date: 2015 (unspecified if ongoing), notes: DCIS Breast Cancer Diagnosis in 2015; "Asthma" (unspecified if ongoing), notes: recovered and diagnosis on Asthma. The patient's concomitant medications were not reported. The following information was reported: VACCINATION FAILURE (medically significant), COVID-19 (medically significant) all with onset 05Mar2022, outcome "not recovered" and all described as "I had symptoms of Covid Beginning on 05Mar22 and on that date I tested positive that evening". The patient underwent the following laboratory tests and procedures: SARS-CoV-2 test: (03May2022) Positive, notes: I had symptoms of Covid Beginning on 05Mar22 and on that date I tested positive that evening; (08May2022) Negative, notes: I felt good on the fourth and fifth day of taking Paxlovid and I tested negative on the following two consecutive days; (09May2022) Negative, notes: I felt good on the fourth and fifth day of taking Paxlovid and I tested negative on the following two consecutive days; (15May2022) Positive, notes: I began having symptoms again on 14May and 15May22. I tested positive again on 15May. Therapeutic measures were taken as a result of vaccination failure, Covid-19. Additional information: If vaccine received- Yes; other medication in 2 weeks- unknown. Medical history included artificial aortic and mitral valves and rapid heartbeat. Concomitant medication included metoprolol taken for heart rate increased, start and stop date were not reported (as needed). The patient stated that she got the shot on Monday, 15Mar2021. She was calling about having a burning in her stomach, underneath her left breast and having a rapid heart beat on Monday and last night. She got the shot in the morning and that evening (15Mar2021) was when the burning and rapid heart beat started. She did have artificial valves, aorta valve and mitral valve. She was wondering why she has the burning on the left side. It was mainly when she laid down at night. When she gets that [burning] she gets the rapid heart beat, her heart rate goes up to 120 or something. Patient reported, "laid down that night, felt burning in my stomach/left side, under my breast. Guess it was acid. My heart rate was 127- stayed for an hour or so, then I relaxed. Two (2) hours later, it all subsided." It skipped Tuesday but it did happen again last night. It was also like an irregular heart beat. Her heart beat went up to like 111. She states that she didn't notice the irregular heart beat until the fourth day [Wednesday], 17Mar2021. It is like beat skip beat skip. The irregular heart rate ended this morning 18Mar2021 and she confirmed she does not have that now. Treatment: states that she took metoprolol and Tylenol but not at the same time. Clarifies that she only takes Metoprolol if she is having a rapid heartbeat, takes only when needed. It is 25mg. BHC/SW, states this was also listed on the Covid Vaccine card. Patient asked if this is related to the vaccine and if it'll happen after getting the 2nd dose. The patient underwent lab tests and procedures which included heart rate: 127 on 15Mar2021 (my heart rate was 127- stayed for an hour or so), heart rate: 120 on 15Mar2021 (her heart rate goes up to 120 or something), heart rate: 111 on 17Mar2021 (Her heart beat went up to like 111). Therapeutic measures were taken as a result of events which included Tylenol and metoprolol. The outcome of the event irregular heart rate was recovered on 18Mar2021 while for the other events was recovering.
