Developed Bell's Palsy; This is a spontaneous report received from a contactable consumer (patient himself). A 48-year-old male patient received second dose of BNT162B2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 VACCINE, Solution for injection, lot number; EN6200) via an unspecified route of administration on 11Mar2021 at 09:00 am at single dose on left arm for COVID-19 immunisation. Patient's medical history included down syndrome and No known allergies. Patient's concomitant medications (other medications in two weeks) included ascorbic acid (VITAMIN-C), glucosamine, chondroitin, vitamin d and IND. Patient previously took historical vaccine included first dose of BNT162B2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 VACCINE, lot number; EN6208) on 18Feb2021 at 09:00 am at single dose on right arm for COVID-19 immunisation. Patient developed Bell's Palsy on 21Mar2021 at 12:15 pm. This was 10 days following the 2nd dosage of the Pfizer vaccine. There was no previous health history of Bell's Palsy. The adverse event resulted in doctor or other healthcare professional office/clinic visit. No treatment for adverse event. If covid was present prior vaccination and if covid was tested post vaccination was reported as no. The outcome of event was not recovered. Information on the lot/batch number is requested.
