one day she did run a fever; horrible sinus infection, the whole side of her head was stopped up; a little bit short of breath; she didn't have a rash but she itched all over; her arms and legs felt like they were swelling; she had a headache; she was very tired; the joint pain was awful; hurting so bad; the muscles in her hips and everything was really tight; This is a spontaneous report from a contactable consumer (patient). A 74-year-old female patient received bnt162b2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 mRNA VACCINE, Formulation: Solution for injection, Lot Number: ENOL98), via an unspecified route of administration on 12Jul2021 01:00 (at the age of 74-year-old) as dose 1, single for covid-19 immunization. There were no medical history and concomitant medications. About an hour and a half after she had the COVID vaccine on 12Jul2021, she was a little bit short of breath, she didn't have a rash but she itched all over, her arms and legs felt like they were swelling, she had a headache, she was very tired, the joint pain was awful and one day she did run a fever. The funny thing about it was that the site where they gave the COVID vaccine to her never swelled. She will not be getting the second shot. She says these began about an hour or an hour and a half afterwards. She doesn't have a normal body because she stayed for the whole 15 minutes and nothing happened and she thought, oh heck, so she had gone to grocery store and the longer she was there she got to feeling worse. So she thought that she needed to get home. When she got home she started itching and if there's something in body that it doesn't like she itches. She couldn't get hot, she had to stay cold, her husband was thinking about moving outside because it was so cold in there. Probed if she was still experiencing these to today and she say that it took about a week for them to go away. The joint pain went away in about 4 days, it's like it pulled at her back, it was horrible, the muscles in her hips and everything was really tight. It was about 4 days and by looking at the calendar she says it was either Friday or Thursday (Jul2021). She clarifies and says that by Thursday it was easing off including the joint pain and it all went away by Monday, 19Jul2021. It was so awful that she couldn't even sit in a chair, she had to go lay down because she was hurting so bad. Fever was on 15Jul2021 and then she woke up the next morning with a horrible sinus infection, the whole side of her head was stopped up and the fever lasted about an hour. Horrible sinus infection began on 13Jul2021, the next day after her COVID vaccine. She had antibiotics in case it did start and when it did she started taking those and then got rid of that. Caller confirms that her fever was 15Jul2021 and that the sinus infection started 13Jul2021, the day after her COVID vaccine which was given on 12Jul2021. Outcome of the event fever was recovered on 15Jul2021; sinus infection was recovered on an unspecified date in Jul2021; pain was unknown; other events was recovered on 19Jul2021.
