Ringing on day 6 has intensified; Ringing in ears; Fever of 99; "Nausa"; This is a spontaneous report from a contactable consumer, the patient. A 52-year-old non-pregnant female patient received the second dose of BNT162b2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 mRNA VACCINE: Lot Number: ER8736) via an unspecified route of administration in the left arm on 28Apr2021 at 13:30 (at the age of 52-years-old) as a single dose for COVID-19 immunisation. The patients' medical history included "thyroid meds". Prior to the vaccination, the patient was not diagnosed with COVID-19. Concomitant medications included unspecified thyroid meds (medications) low dose. The patient previously received the first dose of BNT162b2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 mRNA VACCINE: Lot Number: Unknown) via an unspecified route of administration in the left arm on 04Apr2021 at 15:00 (at the age of 52-years-old) as a single dose for COVID-19 immunisation. The patient did not receive any other vaccines within four weeks prior to the COVID-19 vaccination. On 29Apr2021, a day after the shot the patient had a fever of 99 (unspecified units) and some "nausa". The patient reported that she took a nap. On 30Apr2021, 3 days after the vaccine she experienced ringing in ears, she really noticed it only then. The patient had no other symptoms. On 03May2021, the sixth day (at the time of reporting), she reported that the ringing in ears was worse and it had intensified. The patient was super frustrated and wanted some help as she was concerned due to it. The events did not result in doctor or other healthcare professional office/clinic visit, and emergency room/department or urgent care. Therapeutic measures were not taken as a result of the events. Since the vaccination, the patient had not been tested for COVID-19. The clinical outcome of the events of ringing in ears, fever of 99 (unspecified units) and "nausa" was not resolved at the time of this report. No follow-up attempts are needed. No further information is expected.
