Symptomtext

Mom states she noticed patient tilt forward while sitting on the exam table. No LOC but did faint and dizzy. Patient was laid down by MA. Patient was pale. He was oriented. Then able to sit up and take some sips of water. He laid down again after about 5 min of sitting up . about 10 min later, able to walk to waiting room where he sat for about 10 min. BP checks during this time showed improving systolic BP. Patient was able to ambulate on his own.

Symptomtext

Had vaccines in the late afternoon, then played soccer with her team. On the drive home, she felt nauseous and fainted. She was able to pull over before fainting. Continued to feel nauseous with low grade fever the next day. Rested and felt better the next day.

Tingling; Chills; This is a spontaneous report received from contactable reporter(s) (Other HCP). An 18-year-old male patient received meningococcal group b Rlp2086 (TRUMENBA), on 15Mar2023 as dose number unknown, 0.5 ml single (Lot number: FN5548, Expiration Date: 31Jul2025) at the age of 18 years intramuscular for immunisation, Device Lot Number: FN5548, Device Expiration Date: 31Jul2025. The patient's relevant medical history included: "Anxiety", start date: Jun2022 (unspecified if ongoing). There were no concomitant medications. The following information was reported: CHILLS (non-serious) with onset 15Mar2023, outcome "unknown"; PARAESTHESIA (medically significant) with onset 15Mar2023, outcome "not recovered", described as "Tingling". The patient had vaccine on 15Mar2023 and 3 hours later, had tingling down his left leg and chills. On 16Mar2023, it is in his right leg and also feels like it is in different parts of his body, but patient can't pinpoint or explain. It was also reported that the tingling has worsened and spread to different areas of body. Patient also has chills and doesn't feel right, feels funny. The reporter considered tingling as serious for medically significant event. The vaccine was available to be returned.; Sender's Comments: Based on the close temporal relationship, the association between the event paraesthesia with TRUMENBA can not be fully excluded. The impact of this report on the benefit/risk profile of the Pfizer product is evaluated as part of Pfizer procedures for safety evaluation, including the review and analysis of aggregate data for adverse events. Any safety concern identified as part of this review, as well as any appropriate action in response, will be promptly notified to regulatory authorities, Ethics Committees, and Investigators, as appropriate.

Symptomtext

Pt had tingling for 3 hours after the Trumenba vaccine in his L leg. Patient experienced tingling in R leg the following morning and he felt as if it was spreading to other body locations. Said it was a sensation that he has never felt before. Also reported chills and not feeling well. History of anxiety and experience anxiety associated with discussing Guillain Bare Syndrome.

On 3/10 began having soreness on Right Arm. Noted to have a clementine sized area of erythema and swelling with shortness of breath rest. Heart Rate was 124 at that time. Also experienced chills with no fever. PCP was contacted and was told to monitor overnight. On 3/11 in the morning was having trouble standing up and experiencing shortness of breath and nausea. Chest felt uncomfortable. Her right shoulder was hurting. At this time, PCP was contacted again and was instructed to go to the ER. ER did ekg, CT, echocardiogram and bloodwork. Toponin level was elevated - 0.11, 0.14, and 0.08. CRP was elelvated at 84, ESR elevated at 31, and D-dimer elevated at 832. CBC, CMP, urine drug screen, CT, and EKG all normal .

45 mins after dose started c/o h/a. She called mom and was screaming at the top of her lungs, nauseated, shaking, tingling all over, heart was racing. Got her home and laid her down, She vomited 3 times, This am woke and she says her whole body is sore from yesterday, no more vomiting, afebrile.

after receiving Menatra and Trumemba pt was sitting in room with mom and stated she didn't feel right, then eyes closed and fell to side onto medical table pt was sitting on, mom reports upper and lower b/l shaking of extremities, all lasting < 20-30seconds. no color change. pt came too before I entered the room and cool compress applied, and advised to drink water. HR and BP rechecked, BP slight high, rechecked again in 5mins and nl for pt. nl heart physical exam. pt reports feeling completely normal prior to leaving office and spent another 15mins in office to evaluate finger that she also wanted PE clearance for at time.

Dystonic reaction with pallor, full body shakes and fever to 102.7. Monitored in office for 1 hour. Shakes subsided after 50mg diphenhydramine in 15 minutes. Fever began to decrease after acetaminophen 1000 mg and left office with 101.6 temp.

SHE STATES SHE WAS UNABLE TO WALK, AND SHE HAD A PINCHING SENSATION IN HER NECK WITH SHOOTING PAIN. SHE STARTED EXPERIENCING HEADACHES WITH LIGHT SENSITIVITY. PT CONTINUES WITH SYMPTOMS AS OF TODAY. PT DENIES ANY LOC, NO FEVER, NO HX OF MIGRAINES OR HEADACHES. INJECTION SITE HAS NORMAL REDNESS AND TENDERNESS. PT WAS DIRECTED TO ER, BUT MOM CALLED FRIEND WHO IS ER PHYSICIAN AND WAS INSTRUCTED TO HYDRATE AND MONITOR, SO THEY DID NOT GO TO ER.

Symptomtext

Patient complained of pain at the injection site immediately after vaccine. Arm was "super sore over the weekend. Starting on 2/9/23, patient was describing pain as sharp and felt like something sharp was moving around in her arm. Left deltoid area became red, painful, and slightly swollen. Area was warm to touch on day of exam, redness spreading. Treated for cellulitis.

Symptomtext

This patient presented to our immunization clinic yesterday 01/19/2023. He will be starting college and was advised that he would need a Meningitis B vaccine. The adult immunization schedule was reviewed beforehand and it appeared that adults 26+ were able to receive the vaccine based on shared clinical decision making. The vaccine was administered. Upon further investigation, our department realized that the manufacturer insert only approves the vaccine for individuals between the ages of 10-25 years old. This man did not have any immunosuppression, and will be commuting to college every day. Therefore, he was ineligible to receive this vaccine based on his age. Patient denies any complications or side effects related to vaccine.
