seizure; This is a spontaneous report received from contactable reporter(s) (Pharmacist) from a sales representative. A 16-year-old male patient received BNT162b2 (BNT162B2), on 03Mar2021 as dose 1, single (Lot number: FN6205) at the age of 16 years for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history included: "temporal lobe epilepsy" (unspecified if ongoing), notes: 16 year old male with history of temporal lobe epilepsy. The patient's concomitant medications were not reported. The following information was reported: SEIZURE (medically significant) with onset 03Mar2021, outcome "unknown". Therapeutic measures were taken as a result of seizure. Clinical course: Patient experienced a seizure immediately within 10 minutes after initial dose of COVID 19 vaccine on 03Mar2021. Patient did not have a seizure in about 10 years. Taking Trileptal 600mg 2x a day. Sender's Comments: Based on the information provided in the narrative, a causal association between the event Seizure and the suspect drug cannot be completely excluded. The impact of this report on the benefit/risk profile of the Pfizer product is evaluated as part of Pfizer procedures for safety evaluation, including the review and analysis of aggregate data for adverse events. Any safety concern identified as part of this review, as well as any appropriate action in response, will be promptly notified to Regulatory Authorities, Ethics Committees and Investigators, as appropriate.

Symptomtext

Vaccination burned slightly, some arm soreness, but no other immediate reactions. Eight days after vaccination I developed skin tenderness on L forearm. Days 9-13 have resulted in rash in several areas on forearm and additional tenderness on upper arm. At regularly scheduled dermatologist appt they advised it was shingles and prescribed an anti-viral medication (Valcyte HCL 1000mg).

A 63-years-old female patient received bnt162b2 (BNT162B2) via an unspecified route of administration on an unspecified date (Batch/Lot Number: FN6205) as DOSE 1, SINGLE for covid-19 immunisation. Medical history included asthma, environmental allergy, chronic myeloid leukemia and overactive bladder. Past drug history included fluticasone propionate, salmeterol xinafoate (ADVAIR) 100/50 twice daily inhalation taken for asthma from an unspecified start date and ongoing, azelastine hydrochloride, fluticasone propionate (DYMISTA) 1 spray each nostril twice daily taken for environmental allergy from an unspecified start date and ongoing; dasatinib monohydrate (SPRYCEL, NDC: 0003-0524-11) 70 mg, one tablet every evening taken for chronic myeloid leukaemia from 2013 to an unspecified stop date; spironolactone (SPIRONOLACTONE) 25 mg once daily taken for fluid retention from 2017 to an unspecified stop date and mirabegron (MYRBETRIQ) 50 mg once daily by mouth taken for hypertonic bladder, start and stop date were not reported. On an unspecified date, the patient experienced some throat tightness the day of the COVID vaccine that dissipated late that afternoon and that was for both doses.
