Symptomtext
I had an extremely sore throat, worse than when I had strep throat years ago. It started Sunday and progressed to Monday evening when my son brought me an at-home COVID-19 test. At that time, I was running a fever 103.6F. The test came back positive unfortunately. The fever continued for about 2-3 days, so I contacted my pulmonologist. He prescribed me Paxlovid for my contraction of COVID-19; I started taking it day 3 of my symptoms, and 3 days later of taking the prescription, I started feeling way better. My temperature went back to normal body temperature and the sore throat had disappeared.
