The reporter is the patient. A 49 year-old female patient received bnt162b2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 VACCINE), administration date 17Oct2021 (Lot number: FN8027) at the age of 49 years as dose 3 (booster), single, administration date 23Mar2021 (Lot number: EP6955) as dose 2, single and administration date 03Mar2021 (Lot number: EL3247) as dose 1, single for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history and concomitant medications were not reported. The following information was reported: DRUG INEFFECTIVE (medically significant), SUSPECTED COVID-19 (medically significant), outcome "unknown" and all described as "Breakthrough symptomatic COVID infection"; IMMUNISATION (medically significant) with onset 17Oct2021, outcome "unknown", described as "Booster". The clinical course was reported as follows: Breakthrough symptomatic COVID infection after 2 doses plus booster. Event took place after use of product. No follow-up attempts are possible.
