The reporter is the patient. A 54 year-old male patient received bnt162b2 (BNT162B2), administered in arm left, administration date 16Mar2021 (Lot number: FN9166) at the age of 54 years as dose 1, single and administration date 06Apr2021 (Lot number: FN6207) as dose 2, single for covid-19 immunisation. The patient had no relevant medical history. There were no concomitant medications. The following information was reported: DRUG INEFFECTIVE (medically significant) with onset 2021, outcome "unknown", described as "Vaccination failure"; COVID-19 (medically significant) with onset 2021, outcome "unknown", described as "COVID-19 confirmed by positive COVID-19 test"; CHEST DISCOMFORT (non-serious) with onset 26Oct2021, outcome "not recovered", described as "chest congestion"; RHINORRHOEA (non-serious) with onset 29Oct2021, outcome "not recovered", described as "runny nose"; COUGH (non-serious) with onset 01Nov2021, outcome "not recovered", described as "coughing"; PAIN IN EXTREMITY (non-serious) with onset Apr2021, outcome "recovered" (Apr2021), described as "sore left arm"; HEADACHE (non-serious) with onset 2021, outcome "unknown", described as "headache"; PYREXIA (non-serious) with onset 2021, outcome "unknown", described as "fever". The patient underwent the following laboratory tests and procedures: sars-cov-2 test: positive. the patient stated that two weeks prior to Halloween he had the same symptoms as he had when he tested positive for Covid. Therapeutic measures were taken as a result of rhinorrhoea, headache, pyrexia. The patient was treated with over-the-counter Dayquil for all symptoms of headache, fever and runny nose. Caller stated that his provider told him to call this number if he had unusual effects from the booster shot. Stated that compared to the last shot that the amount of pain on left side where he got the shot from head to toe. Stated that is was not as severe from second shot that he had for his sore left arm back in Apr. Stated that the pain from the booster is more severe and lasted a lot longer. Stated that he did the right on his first shot. Is for the Covid 19. Wanted to know if coughing was symptom. Event details: Stated that the second shot sore arm resolved 09Apr or 10Apr. Recovered completely. Stated today is the first day he is trying to function from pain from booster shot. Stated that two weeks prior to Halloween that he had the same symptoms as he had when he tested positive for Covid. Treatment: Stated that he took over the counter Dayquil for all symptoms of headache, fever and runny nose. Product details: Stated that his second shot was on 06Apr2021.
