Dyspnoea Fall Loss of consciousness Nausea Syncope

Symptomtext

Syncope immediately after administration fell onto the left side then faced down gasping for air. Patient was immediately turned over to one side to allow breathing and then patient regained consciousness after 2 minutes. Patient was monitored for 1 hour, reported nausea during monitoring and went home with assistance of a friend.

Co-suspect products included flu seasonal qiv dresden pre-filled syringe device (Fluarix Tetra Pre-Filled Syringe Device) injection syringe for prophylaxis. On 30th September 2021, the patient received Fluarix Tetra 2020-2021 season and Fluarix Tetra Pre-Filled Syringe Device. On 30th September 2021, unknown after receiving Fluarix Tetra 2020-2021 season and Fluarix Tetra Pre-Filled Syringe Device, the patient experienced expired vaccine used. On an unknown date, the outcome of the expired vaccine used was unknown. This report is made by GSK without prejudice and does not imply any admission or liability for the incident or its consequences.
