feet and hands were swelling up/My hands are swelling; feet and hands were swelling up/My hands are swelling; bottom lip got numb and tingly hand was tingly and weak; chills; sweats/sweating perfusley/Experienced severe sweating; extreme exhaustion/I am just going exhausted; out of strength and energy/she was feeling weak/Felt myself getting weaker; bottom lip got numb and tingly; Been experiencing stomach pain; Really bad Headaches; dryness in my mouth, shakiness; dryness in my mouth, shakiness; Bad taste on my mouth and my taste buds are feel like dry; going too eye strains; Bad taste on my mouth and my taste buds are feel like dry; going too eye strains; This is a spontaneous report received from a contactable consumer (patient) reported herself. A 73-year-old female patient received second dose of bnt162b2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 mRNA VACCINE, solution for injection, Lot number: GN6201) via an unspecified route of administration at right arm on 09Mar2021 (at the age of 73-year-old) as dose 2, single for COVID-19 immunisation. Medical history included diabetes, penicillin, antibiotics, respiratory infection, Bell's palsy. She mentioned that as a child, she had Bell's palsy and was told that she will develop Bell's palsy later in life. Concomitant medications included metformin taken for diabetes, dextromethorphan hydrobromide, guaifenesin (MUCINEX DM) taken for respiratory infection. Patient previously received first dose of bnt162b2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 mRNA VACCINE, solution for injection, Batch/ Lot number: Not reported) via intramuscular route of administered at right arm on 16Feb2021 12:20 as dose 1 single for COVID-19 immunization. (Age at vaccination 73 years) and experienced following events: a strange, indescribable taste in her mouth that sort of resembles soap, shakiness, Headache, a thick feeling on her tongue with the taste buds feeling indescribable, prominent and dry, is really tired enough to want to lie down and sleep-tiredness, chills fever, weakness and hand Tingelley+week. It was reported that caller received the second dose of the vaccine on 09Mar2021 within a half hour after getting the vaccine, her bottom lip got numb and tingly. The feeling spread to the corner of her left mouth and it went to her left eye and to the corner of her head really bad headaches and spread throughout the left side of her face. She mentioned that as a child, she had Bell's palsy and was told that she was develop Bell's palsy later in life aside from that, she also experienced chills and sweats. She also experienced extreme exhaustion to the point that she cannot do housework because she was out of strength and energy. She slept for hours because she was feeling weak. Her right hand was tingly and weak. She also mentioned that her feet and hands were swelling up. She said she has been avoiding salt in her diet so she wasn't sure where that came from. She wanted to know if Pfizer has any recommendation in counteracting the AEs she is experiencing. Patient mentioned that she is diabetic and she takes metformin and on the day she got her second dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, she had a respiratory infection and she was taking Mucinex DM. Upon getting her second shot, she informed a pharmacist issued to us. she lives in a senior citizen apartment, and we were issued one pharmacist here, she told him of her first experience and what she was going through. He was wrapped around hands but not saying anything. But he did give me she second shot, her second shot. she rounds up sitting there for over an hour within like half an hour, she was experiencing numbness on her bottom lip and then and then it went to the side of her mouth and left side of her mouth and then it went up into her face, to her eye and then not her temple, not her forehead but to the comer of her head, bad headaches. She also experienced severe sweating and dryness in my mouth, shakiness, Chills, fever, weakness and hand tingelley+ week on Mar2021 The pharmacist kept a watch on her and came over to her several times and she gave him further information of what was happening, updated. she believes he went out to his car, left the building and came back and says he wanted me to take Benadryl and gave me a red capsule pill that she took and have with water. She sat there for a while, and she felt herself getting weaker and sweating profusely. She was scared herself and she wanted to get back to her apartment away from people. It scared her terrible, she gets too shakiness. she still experiencing stuff now and this is 2 weeks later. Shakiness, she gets this bad taste on her mouth in her taste buds are feel like dry, it's hard to describe. She is going too eye strain; her hands are swelling and she diabetic by the way and she was taking diabetic medicine. Let me backup more. she is taking my metformin diabetic medicine and prior to my initial shot (my vaccine), dhr was seen by a medical people. They told me was negative for COVID-19 and advice to take Mucinex DM, that they found she had a respiratory infection for my surprise. She had no idea. And she had been taking Mucinex DM and my metformin basically the only medicine. She had been Metformin basically the only medicine. she had been taking up to 4 days ago, she had been experiencing stomach pain. Outcome of all events was unknown. No follow-up attempts are possible, No further information is expected.
