Skin sensitivity left top forehead at hairline.Arm soreness (left upper); This is a spontaneous report from a contactable consumer or other non hcp.A 71-years-old female patient received first dose of BNT162B2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 VACCINE, Formulation: Solution for injection, Batch/Lot Number: IN6205), via an unspecified route of administration, administered in Arm Left on 05Mar2021 08:45 as 1st dose, single dose for COVID-19 immunization. Medical history included none from an unknown date and unknown if ongoing. Concomitant medications includes vitamin-D and multivitamins taken for an unspecified indication, start and stop date were not reported.The patient did not received any other vaccines within 4 weeks prior to the COVID vaccine. The patient was not diagnosed with COVID-19, prior to vaccination. The patient has not been tested for COVID-19, since the vaccination. The patient experienced facial numbness left side: cheek, eye, ear. Skin sensitivity left top forehead at hairline. Arm soreness (left upper) on 05MAR2021 09:00. The events were assessed as non-serious. The treatment was not received for the events. The patient had no known allergies medications, food, or other products. Caller had facial numbness on left side particularly the cheek, eye, and ear which happened 20-25minutes after receiving vaccine and subsided about 5 days after injection. Caller also had skin sensitivity on left top forehead at hairline which dissipated about 5 days after the vaccine. Caller also stated she had what she thinks is normal but arm soreness in left upper arm that went away about 3 days after receiving vaccine. Caller states that the arm soreness is nothing it is the numbness she is very concerned about. Caller has a question on if she should receive the second dose. 71-year-old caller confirmed she experienced side effects after getting the first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine. She asked if she should receive the second dose. She explained she has already spoken to her HCP. Caller explained the Medical Information line is very misleading as it cannot provide a treatment recommendation regarding her second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine. She added she waited for almost two hours before being able to speak with an MI agent. She stated it is very disappointing and discouraging. The outcome of the event was reported as recovered on an unspecified date in 2021. No follow-up attempts are needed. No further information is expected.
