Inappropriate age at vaccine administration; some of the vaccine leaked out of the needle; This non-serious case was reported by a other health professional via call center representative and described the occurrence of inappropriate age at vaccine administration in a 30-year-old female patient who received Men B NVS (Bexsero) (batch number J52HN, expiry date 31-MAR-2024) for prophylaxis. On 21-DEC-2023, the patient received Bexsero. On 21-DEC-2023, an unknown time after receiving Bexsero, the patient experienced inappropriate age at vaccine administration (Verbatim: Inappropriate age at vaccine administration) and incomplete dose administered (Verbatim: some of the vaccine leaked out of the needle). The outcome of the inappropriate age at vaccine administration and incomplete dose administered were unknown. Additional Information: GSK receipt Date: 21-DEC-2023 A nurse reported that, a female patient received a dose of Bexsero where some of the vaccine leaked out of the needle which led to incomplete dose of vaccine administered. The patient received the dose of Bexsero at the age of 30 years which led to inappropriate age at vaccine administration. The reporter consented to follow up.
