Symptomtext

Patient began having joint stiffness and pain 3 weeks following vaccination. By ~6 weeks following vaccination, stiffness and pain escalated to the point that she struggles to perform daily tasks. (Hold a pencil, get in and out of a chair, go up and down stairs, put on daughter's clothing, etc.) Primary joints affected were hands (predominantly right), ankles, and knees. Occasional pain through wrist. Pain continued for 14 months, flaring more significantly during hormonal changes seemingly relate to breastfeeding. During these periods, patient experienced significant fatigue and was unable to perform daily activities. Chiropractic care, nutritional supplements, and dietary changes with the intent to decrease inflammation had positive impact on severity. Patient continues to need lifestyle measures to manage symptoms. There is no other medical explanation for patient's symptoms, so this is a probable reaction to MMR
