Symptomtext

Roughly 1 minute after injections, mother noted possible syncopal event with recovery. Doctor (me) and tech evaluated and noted child to be slightly pale and sleepy though arousable. VS showed low normal BP and low normal heart rate. Child vomited once and continued to have varying levels of consciousness. Child and mother were escorted to the Emergency Room for evaluation. Child was evaluated and determined to have a vagal episode and discharged home.
