Symptomtext
Patient received the first dose on 04/14/2021 at a vaccination site. The site was opened but covered. After 2-5 minutes, patient experienced difficulty swallowing. She was able to talk. Throat swallowing was intermittent; notes she was unable to swallow 2-3 times every few seconds. Able to drink water. After 30 minutes observation, she drove home. After 20 minutes, she arrived home. She experienced some throat itching after a total of 45 minutes since she received the vaccine. Visited Urgent Care same day, was recommended diphenhydramine 25 mg taken orally. Took diphenhydramine, slept through the night, and symptoms resolved the following day
