Symptomtext

tightness in chest, a little harder to breathe, lower back, hips in pain, temp. of 102.85 after tylenol was taken, head hurting, freezing with trembling, sweating, sick at stomach,weak, unsteady, this all the same day and evening into night, couldn't really go to sleep till way up the next morning, felt bad day after didn't want to do anything. Felt better by late evening of 10/25/2023. But don't look forward of ever receiving any more flu shots!

feeling cold; felt very uncomfortable; go to bed where he was shaking; Initial information received on 17-Sep-2023 regarding an unsolicited valid non-serious case received from a consumer/non-healthcare professional. This case involves a 82 years old male patient who experienced go to bed where he was shaking, feeling cold and felt very uncomfortable after receiving vaccine influenza quadrival A-B high dose HV vaccine [Fluzone High-Dose Quadrivalent]. The patient's past medical history, medical treatment(s), vaccination(s) and family history were not provided. On 11-Sep-2023, the patient received a dose of suspect influenza quadrival A-B high dose HV vaccine Suspension for injection in pre-filled syringe lot NDC 49281-0123-65 via intramuscular route in unknown administration site for prophylactic vaccination (immunization). On 11-SEP-2023 the patient developed go to bed where he was shaking (chills), feeling cold and felt very uncomfortable (discomfort) on the same day following the administration of influenza quadrival A-B high dose HV vaccine. Reportedly, Following a Fluzone High Dose injection on Sep 11th, 2023, the patient felt very uncomfortable, was cold and had to go to bed where he was shaking due to feeling cold. Symptoms disappeared the next day after one night in bed. Action taken was not applicable. It was not reported if the patient received a corrective treatment for the events go to bed where he was shaking, feeling cold, felt very uncomfortable. At time of reporting, the outcome was Recovered / Resolved on 12-Sep-2023 for the event go to bed where he was shaking, feeling cold and felt very uncomfortable.

Symptomtext

Some arm soreness initially, but about 8 hours after the injections, extreme debilitating muscle and joint soreness, fever over 100F. No treatment beyond bed rest and fluids. the most extreme pain lasted about 24 hours, gradually subsided.
