Patient was administered vaccine on 2/8/22. Vaccine expired on 2/7/22. Staff administering vaccine and nurse who did 2nd check both missed the expiration date during preparation. Manufacturer and CDC consulted for recommendations. Provider to follow CDC guidelines and consider the vaccine not valid. Patient made aware. Patient agreeable to return in one month to receive again, restart series. Patient denies any adverse effects.
