male patient received 2 doses of Tdap on the same day; This non-serious case was reported by a pharmacist via call center representative and described the occurrence of overdose in a 76-year-old male patient who received DTPa (Reduced antigen) (Boostrix) (batch number NRSDX, expiry date 02-FEB-2026) for prophylaxis. Concomitant products included Diphtheria vaccine toxoid, Pertussis vaccine acellular, Tetanus vaccine toxoid (Tdap). On 04-DEC-2023, the patient received the 2nd dose of Boostrix. On 04-DEC-2023, an unknown time after receiving Boostrix, the patient experienced overdose (Verbatim: male patient received 2 doses of Tdap on the same day). The outcome of the overdose was unknown. Additional Information: RA Receipt Date: 20-DEC-2023 The reporter mentioned that, it came to the reporter's attention today (on the day of reporting), that a male patient received 2 doses of Tdap on the same day, which led to overdose. The first dose was of Tdap (unspecified manufacturer) was given at the patient's doctor's office. The second dose of Tdap was given at the pharmacy (Boostrix). The reporter states that the patient had not experienced untoward effects. The reporter consented to follow up.
