Symptomtext

Immediately after receiving influenza vaccine for the first time the patient began scratching at the site of the injection. We had patient wait due to first time vaccination and he developed a spotty rash on both arms and his cheeks were more rosey in color than when he initially came in. Pt was very calm and cooperative, no difficulty breathing, no difficulty swallowing, normal respiratory rate, pulse ox was 98 percent, heart rate 106. EMS was called for an evaluation of patient. Mom left with EMS to have patient evaluated and seen at the Hospital. Will follow up with mom on status.
