Pt reports having following symptoms: poking in the throat, headace, fatigue, dizzy, feeling out of it, coughs, and runny nose; pt described it as "strong cold-like symptoms" all started on Wednesday 4/14/2021 in the morning time (over a 1.5 week of post-vaccination). What happened as a result of the adverse event? Pt reported she started taking Tylenol on 4/15/2021 PRN for her headache which helped; reports staying hydrated by drinking plenty of water and hot tea. Pt reports she is going to get tested for covid-19 today. ***NOTES*** Advised pt that symptoms such as coughs and runny nose are symptoms or covid-19 or another infection which are not consistent with post-vaccination symptoms. Recommend pt to contact her MD if her symptoms are not getting better and to continue to stay hydrated. Advised pt if her covid-19 test results comes back positive, recommend pt to quarantine for 14 days. Advised pt that if she tested positive for covid-19 and is still experiencing covid symptoms or not feeling well to make sure she recovers and complete her quarantine period before getting her second dose. Provided pt with contact information to reschedule her 2nd dose if needed.
