Sore arm; slept for at least 4 hours; This is a spontaneous report received from a contactable reporter(s) (Consumer or other non HCP). The reporter is the patient. A 80 year-old female patient received bnt162b2 (BNT162B2), administered in arm left, administration date 08Mar2021 (Lot number: SEN6203) at the age of 80 years as dose 1, single and administered in arm left, administration date 29Mar2021 (Lot number: EP7534) as dose 2, single for covid-19 immunisation. Relevant medical history included: "Type 2 diabetes" (unspecified if ongoing), notes: A1C has been anywhere form 6.9-7.3, Is allowed a little more latitude in her numbers.; "stent" (unspecified if ongoing), notes: Had two stents placed. Monitored by cardiologist, Has been doing very well; "Diabetic retinopathy" (unspecified if ongoing), notes: In feet and ankles; "Diabetic neuropathy" (unspecified if ongoing), notes: In feet and ankles; "pacemaker" (unspecified if ongoing), notes: Had two stents placed. Monitored by cardiologist in withheld , Has been doing very well. There were no concomitant medications. The following information was reported: PAIN IN EXTREMITY (non-serious) with onset 2021, outcome "unknown", described as "Sore arm"; SLEEP DISORDER (non-serious) with onset 2021, outcome "unknown", described as "slept for at least 4 hours". Additional information: Had first two shots at the same place. They were fine. Had a sore arm with each dose, but nothing to write home about. Third dose did not hurt when the guy was doing it. About 3PM, started to get sleepy, but was expecting that. With first two doses, slept for at least 4 hours and that was all. With the booster dose, started to feel like she was getting a bad cold, but didn't cough or sneeze. She just felt that way. Slowly got worse. For 72 hours felt really rough. Everything hurt like it does with the flu, except she did not cough or sneeze. Had a headache. Everything hurt so bad even her eyelashes. Did not feel like eating did not eat much. She is a diabetic. Had to eat something to do her insulin. Then she had diarrhea. After 3 days it slowly got better. Arm was very sore for about 5 days. Had to do all shots on the left arm because she is required to sleep on the right side. Is due for a Flu shot but decided with pharmacist to wait two weeks. In middle of Dec2021, is due for second shingles shot. Was 80 when she got the booster. Has other health conditions. Intentionally lost about 20 pounds or more. Is still working to lose more weight. She looks healthy and her numbers are good. Has been working on her balance. Is in Physical Therapy for that. Is doing quite well getting her balance back. That has nothing to do with the booster dose. With the booster dose she laid in bed, whined, and moaned. States a lot of her doctor's patients got their A1C and have gone crazy with food. No further details provided. In pt.'s County, every month numbers have gone up. Caller has stayed home and lived in the house. She doesn't mix with anybody. Treatment: Took Tylenol for headache. No prior vaccinations (within 4 weeks). Was going to tell some of her friends who had similar reactions to report it to their pharmacies.
