Symptomtext

Diagnosed with Guillian Barre Syndrome after showing signs of weakness in legs, muscles, numbness in feet and legs, and hands. Experienced balance problems, falling, entered ER on May 28, Could not walk, spinal tab done and confirmed Guillian Barre Syndrome virus. Was treated with 2 courses of IGIV in hospital and 3 more courses as outpatient. Reentered ER on June 27, 2021 after falling from weakness in legs. Spinal tap confirmed GBS. Given 2 more courses of IGIV, sent to Rehab hospital for 6 weeks with 2 more courses of IG, Sent home with home care and receiving 2 courses of IGIV every 3 weeks through December 2021

irregular heart rhythm was first diagnosed by ECG in Doctors office 8/19/2021 - low BP, high Pulse has been happening on and off and was first noted the first week of June 2021 - before that I had felt strange but just put it off to being overly tired because of some remodeling work I was doing in the house starting 1st week of March. Looking back it was the same time frame that I received the Covid vaccine, 1st shot 2/17/21, 2nd shot 3/10/21. Who knows?

March 10, 9am, received injection in left arm. Minor headache throughout the day. That afternoon (~3:00pm) noticed itchy neck and face. (Since I had a rash last year from skincare products I just thought it was same thing). March 11, rash worse. Treated with topical 2.5% hydrocortisone ointment. Back of head started feeling tender. March 12, evening, back of head feeling worse, took Ibuprofen. Rash much better on face/neck. Middle of night (March 12), head extremely painful and noticed swollen lymph nodes on back/right side of head. March 13, 8:00am, went to urgent care clinic. Received Cefdinir 300mg antibiotic for unknown infection causing swollen lymph nodes. Rash almost gone. Back of head extremely tender/painful. March 14, swollen lymph nodes multiplied on back of head and also on right side of neck. Saw neighbor anesthesiologist who thought my rash and swollen lymph nodes were caused by the vaccine. March 15, lymph nodes still swollen, but feels more burning/itching like a rash now with occasional throbbing pain. Spreading more in right side of neck, which is sore/tender. Slight rash on neck.

Symptomtext

In the week that I received the vaccine, I had what seemed like gut problems that I experience on occasion due to IBS. However, at this point, weeks later, I am so bloated that I can only wear a few items of clothing. The bloating won?t seem to let up. The size of my abdomen has gotten progressively larger though GI problems (excessive gas, pain, and/or constipation) are infrequently present.
