Got shingles 2 weeks after covid vaccine; This is a spontaneous report from a contactable consumer (patient herself) via COVID-19 Adverse Event Self-Reporting Solution. A 46 years old non -pregnant female patient received BNT162B2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 mRNA VACCINE, Formulation: Solution for injection, Lot Number: 6198) via an unspecified route, administered in Left Arm on 22Feb2021 at 14:15 (46-year-old at vaccination) as a Dose number unknown, Single for COVID-19 immunization. The patient was non-pregnant at time of vaccination. The patient medical history was not reported. No known allergies was reported. The patient's concomitant medication(s) included semaglutide (OZEMPIC), bupropion hydrochloride (WELLBUTRIN) within two weeks of vaccination. Vaccination Facility type was reported as Other. The patient was not diagnosed with Covid prior vaccination. The patient had not received any other vaccine in four weeks prior vaccination. On 03Mar2021 (2 weeks after covid vaccine), the patient had experienced shingles. These adverse event resulted in doctor or other healthcare professional office/clinic visit, emergency room/department or urgent care visit. The patient received Lyrica, acyclovir as treatment medication for the event. The patient had not tested for Covid post vaccination. The outcome of the event shingles was recovering. No follow-up attempts are required. No further information is expected.
