Symptomtext

20 y/o M presents to clinic for swelling and itchiness on face and throat x 20 minutes ago. PT states while playing soccer on the field he drank the field water during a quick break and started feeling slight itchiness and swelling around the throat and numbness in his arms. After game ended the patient drank some more water and the symptoms began to get worse with increase of previous symptoms along with rashes and swelling on his body. PT had food before the game but denies any food allergies and denies any trauma. PT has no further complains or concerns.

Injection site inflammation Tendonitis

Symptomtext

Inflammation in the right arm at the injection site, leading to tendonitis (persisting from soon after injection and ongoing at the time of this report). This (flu) vaccine was injected in the same arm that was still in pain from a tetanus injection over 6 months prior (filed under separate VAERS). A similar reaction resulted from a COVID injection in the left arm over a year prior (filed under separate VAERS).

Symptomtext

Injection attempt was given in the right arm first. injection had empty vaccine vial. Sterile needle was used throughout procedure, needle stick protocol does not apply. Patient was informed of administration mistake, verbally acknowledged understanding. Influenza vaccine was then administered to left arm.
