Symptomtext

About 4 hours aftr receiving the vaccination pt reports whole arm became red and warm and he felt his throat become itchy and it was more difficult to breath. He states he did not receive any treatment or care because symptoms decreased over the next few hours and returned to normal by the next day

Symptomtext

At 1040, patient began to notice some sensitivity and redness at the site of the injection. RN noted a red circle around 2 inches in diameter around the vaccine site. APHN advised pt. to continue stay for an additional 20 minutes for further evaluation for possible reaction. At 1045, Nurse observed patient scratching at arm of injection. Nurse asked to see vaccine site, she then noticed spots beginning to appear at patient's neck. When asking to see patient's truck, it was also noted to be red. Patient states that is normal for him to be red. When looking at patients back, Nurses noted multiple spots appearing up to his neck and starting to appear on his back. Patient denied any shortness of breath or difficulty breathing. Patient was transported to UC for further evaluation and released.

Dizziness Hyperhidrosis Nausea Pallor

Symptomtext

Patient received vaccination approximately 5-10 min after vaccine patient reported feeling nauseated. Upon observation patient was pale, diaphoretic and dizzy. Immediately laid patient on the ground and elevated legs. Pulse ox was applied to patients finger with oxygen saturation at 90%. Mother reported patient had not eaten anything since lunch, provided waters and cracker to patient. Patient felt much better and symptoms resolved.
